Whoever started at rightback wearing 15, I'm glad he went off after a few minutes. Whenever the ball went in his general direction I almost felt worried for him.
He talks a good game, with the cadence and delivery you can see why he gets sent in front of the angry mob. It's just a shame about the actual words he says.
It just feels like an away game, but with even less interest than I'd normally have. I'd like us to win as I usually would, but I have absolutely no sense of anticipation that normally greets proper matches.
I remember the game where we spotted Chris Iwelumo leaving in his car just after full-time, and wondering if that meant he was in talks to sign for us. Looked him up at home and it turned out he was injured having just signed for Watford, the team we were playing.
I still can't believe they're in this division considering how recently they were up at the top. At least Portsmouth had oblivion as an excuse, Wolves just appear to had forgotten how football works.
I agree. Your post telling him off on behalf of 'the vast majority' certainly fits the bill, as does the complete line in emotional blackmail. Season ticket holders were always scum though, weren't they?
11 minutes ago he's talking about how bad bullies are in another thread, now here he is joining the braying mob and screaming SCAB. The self-awareness at this place is glorious.
I think it was Sheffield Utd in the cup last season when that happened. LOADS of walk-ups and people were joining the nearest queue in the hope it was the right one, they ended up having to open further gates. I'd advise anyone to avoid that if they can.
