The measures have been put in place for a reason. The club isn't going to make seats unavailable and lose revenue for the sake of it. Of course you can argue subjectively about whether the measures are overly draconian, but the fact is measures are in place because fans misbehaved. A big part...

    Transfer Rumour Jamie Patterson

I think it's a dig about how some were saying paying a £400k fee for him was a trivial amount, and wages of £18k a week for six months is about the same amount.

Considering in the past you've made veiled comments about why I dislike Priti Patel and Suella Braverman I don't think you're one to talk.

Video Ben Wilson signs new Sky Blues contract | "I am absolutely BUZZING to get it over the line!"

I'm not happy he's buzzing about things going over the line. Or maybe he's not being contracted as a player but as goalline technology.

    Ben Wilson

I guess it depends on how much he's getting. If it's not that much having him as No.2 would be fine, if it weren't for Moore still being contracted next year as well. I'm sure we'll be looking to let him go on a free to bring in someone else but if we fail to do that then there's pretty much no...

His record is incredible, but at the same time there will always be that small question mark over whether he could make a team perform above their standard. Everywhere he's managed you'd expect that team to finish top two with the resources and players available to him. You just wonder whether...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Personally no, because it incentivizes him to be greedy and shoot when it may be better to pass. Only bonuses I think you exist are ones that everyone in the team gets, like win bonuses. Everyone is working towards whats best for the team overall rather than maybe having their own conflicting...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I tend to agree with this - it motivates those who aren't bothered about doing the job well, just getting the pay and will just do those things that are necessary to do that, including treating other co-workers badly. This is turn demotivates those that are actually doing a better overall job...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

There is the issue of increasing life expectancy so therefore a pension would have to provide for longer and therefore need a bigger pot. But the correct response, as has been pointed out, is distribute wealth more fairly and people will be able to better provide for their old age.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

This post pretty much backs up what I wrote about people having their focus pulled away from the issue of wages consistently over a period of time not keeping up with inflation to talk about other issues like modernisation and efficiency. Even got the "unions are too pushy" in there for good...

It's a figure I'd think was acceptable, though would hope there'd be add-ons as well. Part of that fee will go to Brighton but under King I'd be more hopeful (maybe naively so) that more of the fee would get reinvested in fees and wages. If it were SISU I'd say no as I wouldn't expect to get...
