    Today was a disaster

Atmosphere I commented on earlier on last week, there is never a correlation between size of crowd and atmosphere. Huge mysnomer.

    Today was a disaster

Complete and utter bollocks you talk. Yes it was far from perfect. But well done for the volunteers that tried to make it a special for all the young sky blues by putting their time and effort in for the club. My son enjoyed it, purely because it was different. Made a change. Yes agree long...

    Throwing the season away

Deliberately refrained from commenting on anything yesterday and today , wanted to give myself 24 hours before I contemplate commenting on the various threads bordering on ridiculous. Let me firstly say it was indeed a very very bad performance I’d say easily defensively and offensively the...

    Poll

I’d be very dissointed if we don’t make the play offs, especially as we have been in and around play off to date. Yes I would like to see Robins given another chance, as I believe he has been hampered by injuries to no doubt our best player Jodi Jones. And to lesser extent Tony Andreu. Missing...

Imagine the meltdown if he was ours...

He is very fortunate hes had the best defence in the league in front of him. and to add to that the best two defensively minded central midfielders in the league to boot.

    CCFC v Accrington a modern L2 record

Anyway how’s this for a stat. Tomorrow we will have a bigger gate than these home teams all combined in League 2 bar the Swindon game. Barnet 2k Carlisle 4.5k Crawley 2k Cheltenham 3k Crewe 3.5k Exeter 4K Morecambe 1.5k Newport 3.5k Stevenage 2.5k = 26.5 k, going by the average attendances...

    CCFC v Accrington a modern L2 record

You would assume the last game of the season vs Morecambe would be a big attendance if we need a win for Auto/playoff place, and Morecambe need a result to stay up.

Comparison of drop in spectators from relegation to league 2

Accrington’s premier league neighbours and former premier league champion neighbours would only dream of a 30k attendance vs Accrington Stanley, even if their stadiums were big enough they wouldn’t.

    Midweek games affecting L2 clubs

Days, didn’t see that coming. I thought he only just signed a new contract. That’s a bit harsh. They are smack bang mid table. Surprising.

Comparison of drop in spectators from relegation to league 2

Stevo I assume all teams that get promoted get quite a hefty spike up. I’m Sure the teams that got promoted from League one last year are getting huge spikes up also. Notablely Millwall and Sheffield United. Maybe not in Percentage terms but defintaely in X 000s

Comparison of drop in spectators from relegation to league 2

As mentioned in another thread we may end up averaging more than last season if we stay in and around play off places. Our next two games will be 5 figures plus also.

    Midweek games affecting L2 clubs

Yes take a nil nil, especially as they took almost 2000 fans there ! definitely. Main thing is they dropping points. The two teams above us and 3 below all have played a game more.

    CCFC v Accrington a modern L2 record

Which is my point I made earlier I reckon we could easily average more than we did last year.

    CCFC v Accrington a modern L2 record

But on the other hand half or most of those Blackburn and Burnley fans 2nd team is Accy.

    Midweek games affecting L2 clubs

Good result for us if it stays a draw. They drop two points. A draw tomorrow which is a must not lose, we can go up to 6th depending on other results! must pick up a point at least! The two directly above us played a game more also.
