    Yeovil Attendance

So are you saying Coventry fans will go and watch Leicester because we charge a £2 walk up fee? If you're not then your point is irrelevant.

'Some' are £19-£26. Many others are £30-£50. 'Some' of ours are £10 (as Waggot said the club will look at future discount offers). Others are £18-£24. Perfectly in line for clubs 2 leagues apart. We just have a huge number of non-passionate fans that use a few quid on a match ticket as...

Ask the people who are complaining about prices. I think our pricing structure is perfectly reasonable!

Like I said, I don't really have a view on walk up prices. My view is that our prices generally are perfectly reasonable. It costs £11 to watch my local team play in the 7th tier of English football. Its little better than pub football. Why on earth should we charge £15/£18-odd when there is...

£25 or £50. You get other stuff thrown in. For example the £50 one which I have gives a year's subscription to SBP (the only way non-locals can get commentary of games), a half price match voucher, £5 merchandise voucher, priority access to tix after ST holders. I find this excellent value.

To encourage fans to buy earlier to avoid massive queues presumably. Like most clubs do in this league. I don't really have a view on the matchday increase tbf and anybody that has an issue with it can easily avoid it by buying before. It's not rocket science. I just don't understand why...

    Yeovil Attendance

Even though that's cheaper than pretty much every other club's cheapest adult price in this league? I simply don't get your logic. If you think there would be a huge surge in attendance numbers if we reduced prices by £4 then you would be seriously disappointed. Only success will bring out...

That we play 2 leagues below the PL and young boys are more likely to follow a 'big' team. Absolutely bugger all to do with City match prices.

£18 - £24, you're just quoting inflated figures to suit your argument.

Special offer, a bit like Gillingham for us. They charge £30-£50 for bigger games. Again, we are reasonably priced.

    Yeovil Attendance

Just an excuse. People can say £27 all they like but they know damn well they can get in for £18-£22.

    Yeovil Attendance

But its not, its dirt cheap to take a family (providing by family you mean kids as well). It costs £11 to watch football in the 7th tier (ie Southern Premier or equivalent). £18 - £24 for 3rd tier football is perfectly reasonable. I appereciate for some price is an issue but for an awful lot...

    Yeovil Attendance

What evidence is there to back this up? Gillingham was a one-off. Isn't it £18 in the cheap parts of the stadium now? How will charging £3 less suddenly mean another 6,000 (based on avg attendance in 13/14) fairweather fans will suddenly be rushing to the Ricoh? It just wouldn't happen...

Why Not Try A Few More Friday Night Games

In answer to the OP - the crowd for a bog standard league match on a Friday would be pitifully low. Gillingham was a unique event.

    North Stand back open..

Stupid idea. Means the lack of atmosphere problem when there's 10K in the stadium (like there will be for most games) will continue. Unless there is an alternative being put in place, ie closing off the top rows.

    No love lost with Villa

This Aston Villa hatred is embarrassing. They have never given a toss about us and are a MUCH bigger club. I can understand the Leicester rivalry more. Neither of us have an obvious alternative rival (Forest and Derby hate each other much more than Leicester) and we are a similar-ish size.

    Jim O'Brien, eating batteries?

Hell of a ball to Haynes for the goal. Didn't appreciate how good it was until watching it on TV when I got home.
