Is this whole thing a Haskell Mk2?

Don't see them going anywhere, The potential windfall of £5M plus from sale of Wilson will see them through the end summer transfer Window.

    Davies on the move

Sounds like a great plan elevating Drysdale or anybody else. But only after we get to 52 Points! He can experiment all he likes after we are safe.

Match Thread Rochdale vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 9th Feb

Fair play if thts the case we could right under pressure when Oxford/Bradford/Bristol rovers come to ours. Just had visions of Ogogo and JCH on fire vs us. We really need to start picking up points and stop the rot of losing to teams below us. Coventry city insecurity complex coming right...

No trains for us willl be driving up to Hudersfield in the morning (to the in laws) only 20 mins from there. Handy overnight pit stop for northern matches. I think we will skip lunch there and eat all the pies.

Match Thread Rochdale vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 9th Feb

Will be our last away game for a while (countless away trips taking their toll without much to show for it) Seasons over in terms of promotion, will take a Draw after our current run, to keep them at arms length. Can see us winning this though. 2 nil. Bakayoko should be at least be given a...

    Interesting Stats shit (updated)

Attacking effectiveness is interesting. Clearly see the correlation shots taken per goal/shots per match. The top 8/9 teams ie the teams with most effective/clinical strikers are. Interesting how Fleetwood who don’t take many shots per match on average score highly. Not surprising with Madden...

The Curious Case of Jordy Hiwula

Of all the three current strikers Hiwula for me is most talented. That doesn't say much. But he's played out of position most of his games. Come off as sub most of the time too. Scored a variety of goals. Some with e excellent technique like volley vs Doncaster. Add to that He has a decent...

Otis. Chaplin doesn't have a right foot. McNulty scored goals left and right foot inside and outside box. Scored every type of goal imaginable. He was a clever tricky little player. What might be lacking in Chaplin is mental strength. McNulty had it in abundance answered his critics quickly.

On a serious note. Brings fans no joy slagging off all our strikers. Be it Hiwula, Baka, Chaplin etc. All I know is that i back these guys on the pitch and support them on the pitch. Clutch at straws every week ..saying this and that should give him confidence but no avail come match day. Btw...

Very patiently waiting. Really badly would love him to succeed. But unfortunately if I compare to other strikers we have had in last 3 years who were 5 foot 5 or same build or type. Ie Armstrong or McNulty. Just can't see what he potentially brings next year.

    Charlie Wakefield

Please don't compare him to strikers or finishers who score 20/30 plus goals a season. Their penalty to goalscoring ratios are not 50%. And penalty miss ratios 33%. You seem to rate him very highly. Can you tell me his strengths? Name one?

    Charlie Wakefield

Jeez Dobt judge him after 90 mins. Judge him after a few games. Judge him after a few months. Judge him after a season. Judge him next season. Judge him after his 3.5 year contract. He's lucky he's taken the penaltys he hasn't won. Otherwise his goalscoring record would be surely the worst for...

He scored 3 in 4, in the games he's scored i.e. plymouth he was rated an average 4/5s. Lol

Spot on. Our best player or most skill full is Bright. He needs to be in the god damn penalty area at all times. As a defender I know where I wouldn’t want Bright. Baffling how he wasn’t playing up front as a pair with the isolated Hiwula.
