    Rochdale Squad.

Burge phillips-ricketts-Martin-stokes ----Morris--fleck----vincelot -------Thomas---madders ---------------tudgay just a guess really though. Doubt Haynes will come in as he is playing for under 21's. But with both Thomas and Morris being rested I expect them to start. Think reda will be saved...

Trialist starts for City v Cardiff Under 21's.

The line up for the u21's suggest that Haynes, finch, lawton, harries and Kelly Evans won't be involved tmoz even with injuries if they are starting today. If they are it is probably only to make up numbers on the bench. However with no tudgay, Thomas, Morris or Martin suggests all could start...

    Our RB situation

It's a no to shifting ricketts for me, against any sort of pace at right back he would be left for dead, Willis is a good defender and has the pace to go head to head with most wingers.

    Our RB situation

Doesn't need addressing as such. Willis is good enough for league one, solid defensively and pacey, he didn't need to overlap much on Saturday as it would of crowded Armstrong's space to work in, and so would have been counter productive, which is why Phillips didn't get forward much either...

    Rochdale (Away) Match Thread

A few people have said they don't care about league cup, but surely a good cup run will increase revenue, and give a bigger budget to TM? One lucky draw in round 3 and we can bring in some much needed depth.

    No Armstrong For Rochdale

Yep agree, if we and he is doing well, as well as Newcastle playing decently, I think they would rather him stay at a promotion chasing club banging in goals, than go to a mid-table side in the champ where he might not get as much game time.

    No Armstrong For Rochdale

Think SM is targeting the league cup tbf so don't be surprised if they do make it quite far. but as you say it does seem precautionary for the league cup but we shall see

    No Armstrong For Rochdale

I think reda will be rested depending on the Willis injury. I think Martin will play over reda so as to 'manage his games'

Don't think we will see all 3 in that formation again, I think it suited us against a passing team, but as soon as we get in a more exp or more physical presence they will slot straight in, as imo the games will only get more difficult from here, with a lot more physical teams to come. I think...

    Jim O'Brien

Did he just go off with cramp? Or did he pull his hammy? As wasn't that the muscle that was feeling tight last week.

    Conor Thomas

most concussion injuries are, because if they take another bump to the head when coming back too soon after, it can lead to serious memory loss and brain damage. I'm worried as to how long Willis is out now as well?

    Vincelot Yellow Card

Yeah I don't think it was a foul, not from where I was sitting, but on the balance of play throughout the day he probably did deserve the yellow. thought the ref was probably the best I have seen in league one tbf to him. Still not great but better than some of the shit I've seen. Also I...

    Wigan Athletic (Home) Match Thread

Tbf you say that about his kicks, but when he plays it short, all reda and stokes did was smash it up to the Wigan keeper as well. haha i'm pretty sure they only had 3 of their corners sailed to the far side of the box, and at least 1 of them was near the penalty spot, so in all honesty he...

Wigan were poor but we played our part in making them look so poor. dont think their players have quite gelled yet but tbf TM got the tactics spot on to nullify their midfield and not lot hem dominate the ball and pick holes, while also hitting them on the counter. Was a brilliant performance...

Not gonna do full ratings will give some mentions though. Burge-7-Handling was good, saved the very few shots they had, and barring a couple wayward kicks is defo not as bad as made out. Rickets seems to trust him. ricketts &reda- 8- both were excellent and composed, got head on the ball and...
