Surely not, Robbo says our away support is always huge...

    The Treatment Table Thread

Surely, as a Coventry fan, you should want him to do well regardless?

The negativity is palpable on here!

It's all relative, I suppose. Our average is propped up by our one genuinely huge turn-out at MK Dons. Now the season is going down the pan we'll struggle to take 1,000 anywhere. How many are going tomorrow? It certainly won't be 'huge'.

    The Official Petition Thread

    Hence my comment 'away fans'.

    The Official Petition Thread

I thought Nuneaton fans hated Coventry? Possibly the wrong target market. Best concentrate on the away fans.

If CCFC doesn't return to Ricoh this summer...

Well, ignoring the fact that no stadium will ever be built - There would be a divided fan base undoubtedly, and the balance of support would weigh more heavily in favour of the pheonix team for every mile outside the boundary of Coventry SISU built their mythical tin-pot shed.

If CCFC doesn't return to Ricoh this summer...

I cannot express how strongly I despise this man.

The negativity is palpable on here!

Baffling isn't it? I can't think of any reasons for a Coventry fan to feel negative at the moment. :thinking about:

    Level of disconnect

As a non-Coventry kid so would I. You're talking nonsense with this 'Coventry born' nonsense.

    Level of disconnect

Of course we don't! It still baffles me that some supporters think otherwise.

    Level of disconnect

Its crystal clear that they couldn't care less. They want the Ricoh no matter what, and we are inconsequential to that. Lucky for us we have the FL to protect our interests. Oh wait.

    Level of disconnect

And as we all know this is the tragic thing. There must be thousands upon thousands of casual fans that will be lost forever. Not to mention the potential new young fans that are slipping through the net every day.

    Level of disconnect

I still care as much as I ever have done. It may be easier for me as I live so far away and due to personal circumstances can only make 10 or so games a season. As I will not step foot in Northampton's shit stadium to watch my team play 'home' matches on principle I have simply switched home...

    Slow death

That reasoning doesn't make sense. Surely the fact that sisu haven't demonstrated this would be more reason than ever for people to sign it.

    Slow death

Face it, the people of Coventry couldnt give a fuck about the club. A city of 300k+ and about 14k can be arsed to spend 2 mins signing the petition..

    Time to hang on folks

Hey? Nobody said we were to good to go down in 00/01. We had an awful squad. Replaced McAllister and Keane with tripe. Relegation was a near certainty from the opening day of the seasob.
