    The Maatsen Conundrum

Be surprised if we signed Bidwell with all his experience, probably as one of our top earners and on a long contract for him to sit on the bench. I would expect Maatsen to be the back up LWB until/unless Bidwell gets injured or has a stinker.

    The gradual shift in style...

Seemed to be going longer a lot more last night, with some success. Think that is more in recognition of the deteriorating pitch though. Rugger wankers.

Best striker out, poor run of home form in the league, sub zero temperatures and a potential start for DaCosta. Can’t wait.

Missed out ☹️ So just booked the 15th and 16th Feb off to go Cardiff instead 👍🏻

    The CBS

It just tends to follow the score tbh. Oppo take the lead and it’s just ok to poor. We get one back or go ahead and the roof comes off. Same at all grounds.

Best TV shows or movies you can recommend

Watched No God of Man last night. Biopic about the FBI profiler who spent a few years interviewing Ted Bundy on death row. Not brilliant tbh which is at odds with a lot of the critics reviews I read. Probably I was comparing it to the excellent Extremely Wicked….. which was also about Bundy and...

    “Significant bids turned down”

Hypothetically £5m is bugger all to them and they could sign him with a view to developing and loaning him out if they wanted. Not like he’d be a £30m outlay with a view to starting straight away. I could believe this rumour.

    Jordan Shipley

Given how he strikes a ball he’s not a bad utility player to have in the squad. Can play a few positions as he’s shown and traditionally has been good one out of every four games he plays. Based on the last two he can actually offer something at this level and he will be a low earner so I see...

    “Significant bids turned down”

If any of COH, Hamer or Sheaf leave between now and the 31st we’d be massively weakened for the remainder of the season. Even if we did sign an equally good “oven ready” replacement (we wouldn’t) they’d need to get fit and acclimatise.

I like this, but gonna have him anytime rather than first. Kano to then run the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of their fans Adebayor style.

Yeah I rate Waghorn and actually think he could be a key player in a front two. But he doesn’t look like being prolific and him up top on his own supported by COH and Allen screams brewer’s droop. Thankfully we’ve got Gyo who looked sharp against P’boro and I think will find his scoring boots...
