    The future of the club

Putting it bluntly, the main driver for the debt building year on year is the interest accumulated but unpaid. This puts them in a position of not necessarily having to put any additional money in to generate more debt - as the interest adds to the debt, compounded interest (i.e. interest...

    January Transfer Window

Not beyond the realms of possibility though that another Championship side pick him up at double the wage he gets here plus a healthy signing on bonus. That’s the main concern for me, and if he isn’t signing a contract imminently then it may be best to move him on and get some funds at least...

    The future of the club

Transfer credits (or player registration sales as they’re formally known) is still an income stream, and given the type of model we operate - and would have to operate - on they should be viewed as stock sales.

    The future of the club

This is about the extent of it. I like the idea of running quite sustainably and I’m not really interested in having monster losses underwritten like the Coates family do with Stoke. If we could outperform that then so be it, likewise if we dropped down the league or were relegated then so be...

In which case, probably best that we start looking at where he will end up this window.

I do think his comments were more to do with domestic vaccination levels rather than international.

Missed the Keinan Davis move. Was half expecting him to turn up here if we sold Walker.

    Running

Tricky conditions this morning, with a bit of ice underfoot. Managed to get a mile under my belt, but legs are absolutely hanging from circuit training yesterday. Always going to happen when I haven’t exercised in a while.

    Running

As mentioned before, back to basics for me having gained almost all of the 2 stone I dropped. Mile and a half this morning as the first run of the year, was ok but understandably a lot slower than I was previously doing. It’ll come, just got to remain disciplined.

    Go on then my round

Planning to slam down my last crate of San Miguel from Christmas today, then like Clint I’ll have some time off. By the way, where did that Madri come from? Just seemed to appear in almost every pub earlier this year and I’ve never heard of it before.

But Odegaard is in control of the ball at that point. Surely Ederson sliding in and getting none of the ball supersedes it?

There’s no foul in that clip because it hasn’t been allowed to run on an extra 2-3 seconds!!

    Premier League thread

Not convinced the penalty was, more so due to the fact that the Odegaard one in the first half wasn’t overturned. What makes one ‘clear and obvious’ and not the other? The Silva incident is undoubtedly more debatable of the two. Red card, yep. Shame really as until that I thought Arsenal would...
