If no-ones cares why have you spent so much time on here telling people they should be celebrating and how everyone loves the monarchy?

Has it ever crossed your mind that maybe, just maybe, it's because G is wrong. If so many people agreed with G, surely they'd all come and back him up, and in the process shut the rest of us up? Or perhaps it's because pretty much every argument he puts forward ends up getting torn to pieces...

To be fair though you do constantly jibe DoD with being a terrorist. And have a go at Tony quite a bit. And basically call everyone else 'clueless' or their thoughts 'laughable' You're returning fire.

While I agree about having an elected HoS with a lot of power poses massive risks in itself, as BSB mentions you could make the role ceremonial and you could get a lot more tourism from having the buildings open to tourists. Imagine how many would want to come to actually see inside Buckingham...

No, because they'd never be able to admit that a) they'd been that wrong in the first place b) they'd been played for fools c) that there is anything other than British exceptionalism and that the EU (or any other international bloc) will ever be better. They might just about say that this...

Just read that Root became the second English batman to reach 10,000 runs at EXACTLY the same age as the only other Englishman to do it, Alistair Cook. Weird.

While I sort of agree about the owners motives, a bit of long term thinking would tell you that it could end up meaning you have to put more in long term if you take sort term gains now. They saw that soon after taking over after they flogged the family silver for a quick gain and then spent a...

I think we need to look at it as the popularity of the queen as opposed to popularity of the monarchy. I'm no royalist but in recent years I've looked more sympathetically on the queen, probably because of her age. Even her paying Andrew's settlement hasn't really made me think other than let...

What about Brown, May and Johnson when they took over? Elected by the parties but not by the people. Surely if there is a leadership change there should be a GE? O are you going to argue that we vote for a party so therefore whoever they choose still counts. Which would therefore make the EU...

you're always going on about how Starmer needs to do things that will be popular with the British public. At this moment in time it's popular to support THE QUEEN, which he's doing. Had he come out saying 'abolish the monarchy' you'd be saying how he was tone deaf and out of touch with what the...

What she means is: I want to look like I'll put the party above myself but the second he gets ousted I'm throwing my hat in the ring.

Perhaps they should have started with that HS2 bulldozer he was going to lay down in front of... We all know in reality he'd be at the back of that group willing to let anyone else get trampled before he did.
