Arguments against Coventry as a 'City of Rugby'

I want to know what money and other resources CCC are spending on each sport. Some research. Following document gives a few clues. Nothing about Football, money is going into Swimming, Rugby and Badminton. Ice Hockey. http://democraticservices.coventry.gov.uk/documents/s21709/Sports Strategy...

So do you think Wasps are looking for a profitable exit strategy?

    BPA Update

I don't think our owners objectives are very much like Wasps, I think they want an exit strategy that preserves their reputation as smart and tough negotiators. That plan is not going very well.

    Time for a trust statement

I doubt they could see past the shiny model & impressive financial projections Bryan 'probably' showed them.

Arguments against Coventry as a 'City of Rugby'

LOL, no compulsion, I was thinking it was an indirect strategic approach to an issue causing a problem to something I like.

Anything decent going on in and around cov for Father's Day?

    JOB signs for Shrewsbury

Well whatever you think of last season and decisions to release JOB and Peter Tierney it looks like the manager is managing the gig. There is little sympathy in football, results on the pitch are really all that count, the hurt feelings or damaged career prospects of former employees are...

Reading what Sharp said, it was 15K with other development to produce a income stream or 25K and no income and BTW 25K is too big. Does it add up, I don't think so. Also current planning is for a 13K stadium, that means a segregated crowd of 12K tops.

Arguments against Coventry as a 'City of Rugby'

On the contrary, the Sports Strategy is focussed on increasing participation. Maybe it would help you to actually read the and understand their stated strategic objectives.

    Pricing Up Jobs ?

Maybe you should look at getting on Age UK trusted tradesman list (used to be Age Concern). http://www.ageuk.org.uk/ I'd guess they need some sort of reference & you'd have to have a patient manner dealing with the elderly. When my late Aunt P & Uncle D were both alive they often used people...

Arguments against Coventry as a 'City of Rugby'

Rather than lash out because it isn't a policy that I personally don't want to see I thought I'd construct a reasoned argument why isn't right. Popularity Swimming is England’s most popular sport, followed by athletics, cycling and football...

Venus put player negotiations on hold due to Mowbray speculation
