When asked where he hoped he'd be going out on loan he said "Oh, Vienna." The younger members are sitting there thinking "this means nothing to me."

I'm not talking just about UK. I don't care where people are from or where they go. It's literally a numbers game. If, in order to survive we're working off the basis that we need more people in every generation in order to afford to pay for the previous one then we're fucked. It CANNOT happen...

    Not on sky

This set of games the teams chosen have a bigger potential 'story', sneaking in at the last minute and the game more tense. Whereas our game we need to go behind for it to get interesting. And even then we might still get in.

HAMER: BEST MIDFIELDER IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP

To be fair I think the required quality to get into the Dutch or Brazilian squads is slightly higher than to get into Sweden's.

I'll just get hold off the bank with your argument and see what they say. Though I suspect it will finish with 'off'. If you loan someone money you clearly have the desire to get it back, otherwise you'd provide grants or gifts.

It really can't. If you keep trying to put more and more into the same sized space with the same amount (or fewer) resources, shit is going to go down. It's more a load of people banking on it not happening while they're around. It's a bubble and it will eventually burst.

But that just goes to show that the entire premise economics is built on is totally unfeasible. Population cannot grow in perpetuity. There isn't the space or resources for that, and the more populations grow the more likely fights over territory. In fact, pretty much any problem we have you can...

If people had actually read Boris' manifesto then they'd have never voted for him. Absolutely nothing in it except Get Brexit Done for every single issue. No explanation of how Brexit was being done, or how it would solve that particular issue. Frankly if such flimsy stuff would be enough to...

But the club see that as a potential issue, both with adults using kids tickets and kids in places like Singer's Corner, so is a behaviour they want to discourage and have done so via pricing. It will prove to be unpopular, and may well be shooting themselves in the foot a bit, but that will be...

Seems a bit overly complicated, especially the kids pricing. Feel for those in their early 60's who've just had a massive price hike. Fine with the premium seating, and if you're an adult sitting there you may as well go for the PL package - extra £20 but could have a free PL season ticket in...

Well, it is for a steward if said person, who is effectively stealing, starts hurling abuse at the steward for stopping them. Much harder to deal with once they're already in the ground. Could lead to some very unsavoury incidents with people being forcibly escorted out.

    Potential Play off allocations?

I can see it being £35-40 if we get there. Nothing that says they have to price it in the same categories as league games.

    Ticket checks - be warned

I was wondering about that, but with kids getting given some sort of voucher/card for merchandise etc. with it to offset the difference? I suspect however that for most they just wouldn't buy a kids ST.

[POLL] How much would you be willing to pay for a ST next season?

How about 'stable door' turnstiles? If a kid's ticket is used only the bottom half turns ;)

While I think Labour (well, politicians in general) are far more likely to be middle class with some sens e of privilege and not understanding the working person, it still doesn't make sense for working class people to vote Tory, as they're predominantly upper-middle class, extremely privileged...

I'm sure people thought the same about the 'hippy' generation of the 70's. In the 90's when I was growing up from the consensus I'd have imagined that we'd have been predominantly left wing governments by now, but we don't. Maybe this generation will continue to be more left wing as they get...

It's a bit of weird one that. Working class people supposedly vote Labour, and that passes down through the generations. There are quite a lot of working class people. Yet somehow for three quarters of the last 40-odd years we've had a Conservative or Conservative-led government. Go figure.
