I get the sentiment of the thread but even if playoffs are out of reach the rest of this season is still pretty important. Putting a run together and finishing top 10 would give us a much better platform for next season than sleepwalking into 16th.

They do actually, and you would expect it. But not by the amount we are. I did read some analysis that a mix of 1/3 actual goals and 2/3 xg was a better predictor of outcomes than either one alone.
