A lad I used to work with had to go to Russia a lot through work and said it was one of the most thoroughly depressing places he ever had to visit, with the Moscowites in particular being a right miserable bunch. And this was from a lad who was born in Wales and served in Afghanistan.

So far this year I've been in India, Nepal and Thailand and been meaning to get to Utrecht for the past 10 years so this year we're definitely doing a long weekend there but bar that nothing, although I am off to Spain and Vegas in January and February next year.
