Robins deserves time and our support considering what he has achieved in a short period of time. Two things that concern me however are his stubbon attitude and his record managing at this level which has led to him being sacked a few times.

    Experience needed?

My guess would be that when said agents spoke to clubs, they were asking for circa 50k per week. When word gets out the players are considering CCFCs offer of 5k and a pack of rich tea biscuits. Those clubs that scoffed at 50k a week will offer 6 or 7k and a pack of chocolate caramel digestives.

    O'Hare, Allen and Godden

Maybe change 2 up top? We can then rest a a attacking midfield player.

He isn't, Directly. Rose should carry the majority for an inexplicable error of judgement. BUT I mentioned Balden as we have signed 10 players and our team is not stronger than the one that finished last season. Balden is the recruitment lead so needs to take some ownership imo.

Balden is one of the best transfer Guru's in the EFL don't you know!! 🤔. Can't base too much from today as we went down to 10. But despite making many signings our first 11 is concerningly not obviously better than the team last season.

To illustrate the point....Kelly made a big difference when he came on. Had that change not been enforced due to injury, was that change going to be made?

Intresting we have signed 12 players and bar hammer, who is the Walsh replacement, it's the same team that finished last season. We seem to have accumulated a squad of two teams worth of players that are not that far apart in terms of ability. It shows depth, but we might need a marquee signing...

    6 championship clubs need bailout

Reminds me of bankers attitude pre 2008. Let's gamble, if it goes well we can privatise and keeep the profit and if we screw up the public purse can bail us out.

    Project Big Picture...

Rick Parry is an ex Liverpool employee. Would imagine if this power grab gets accepted, there will be something in it for him. The EFL statement reads like an apology for doing over its members.

Is there enough from what people ppl on here know to report him to the DBS?

    Jordy Hiwula

I wonder if mentally he is okay? He will not be a made man from his career to date and would be earning a half decent wage at L1 or top end L2 club.

    Free agent fan.

While I get your point about supporting local teams, surely this is within reason. I get it would be slightly pointless to bring your child up a Middlesbrough fan if you live in Southampton m. But if your within 60 mins from the home ground of your favourite club, are you suggesting kids should...

Something's happening!!! - Michael Rose New Contract

I said by the end of the season for a reason. As at that point they could well be proven championship players. Agree Godfrey is better and that is why he is now going for 25M rising to 30M. My point was for the players listed I felt "by the end of the season" 30M would not be a fair...

Something's happening!!! - Michael Rose New Contract

More than that by the end if the season. Ben Godfrey of Norwich is the subject of 26M offers from Everton that are being rejected.

    Bapaga

3 years is a strange one given his age and phase of development. I hope we have an option on a forth year in the contract. In year 2 of a 3 year deal, only 14-18 months away we will be needing to tie him into a new deal or at the 24 month mark other clubs will be circling. Especially if he...

    No bottomless pit

As much as we would all like to be playing in Coventry I wonder how being "homeless" is working out vs clubs that have have their own ground and all the associated expenses.

    Mcfadzean

In some respects yes but others a resounding no. He can look like he is bossing and marshalling the defence one min and the next can get caught on the ball (Bristol City, which they should have scored from) and worryingly give away a pen (QPR, which they did score from). Those errors don't...

He could come back a completely different player. Evans for all his faults is not the worst manager to learn from.

I love him for the things he is great at. But he worries me a lot as he is more error prone than most.
