    Houchen Vs Thomas

Both great goals, fantastic strike from Thomas, control and finish of a top player. Winning goal too. Houchens goal is one of the most iconic Wembley goals. Houchen every time for me.

    Robins

Whatever the reasons for Robins leaving before he had a very good record with us and given that he has come back in very different circumstances and turned around a team that was devoid of anything that lent itself to winning football, he has more than earned the right to have our support. When...

    Sir John Sillett

For those of us of my vintage there is Tommy Hutchison to pull out of the memory bank. From the moment he walked in the door to the day he left he was pure magic.

Can this season be over already?

You don't flush the toilet unless you see the shit in it.

Can this season be over already?

Suprisingly optimistic, I can see that Robins has a brain and is assessing what is needed next season and I have faith that he will deliver us a better future. At least that is the hope! Confident? Yes, I think we will turn the corner!

    John Sillett Interview

I was in the main stand at Villa Park and saw our boys got a bit of a kicking and were moved down to the Witton and had to run the gauntlet of the Villa fans in the Trinity Road stand.

    John Sillett Interview

Yes it was Regis and Peake! That game at Villa was abysmal. Regis and Yorke had it too easy and we were nearly as bad as against Charlton in 08. Sillett was coming to his natural end but it should have been a classier exit for all he had achieved at the club.

    John Sillett Interview

John Sillett has a point even if it is a tad conceited. What followed was dross and set us back IMO. I remember the talk was that a player was to be mentored by Sillett with a view to taking over at some stage. Then it was Butcher and boring Don Howe. That means Sillett has a point!

    I'm just saying....

I can't fault the effort in any of the 6 games I saw. We were unlucky in some games and outclassed in others but no complaints about the commitment. It is understandable that heads drop when things go against us but that we are so far adrift is a crime as bad as the Leicester players winning so...

Match Thread Checkatrade Final Match Thread - Oxford

I read your posts from yesterday and it is clear that you are an unhappy soul. How can you justify the negative on a day like that? Surely everyone would agree we have been very poor? We all know you don't like certain players but all of them gave their all and won the game. I know it was a...

    What a day

A magnificent day! I loved every minute except once the game was over it felt nothing like the win in 87. That said we played a decent side and competed in all areas! Where the fuck was that for the previous 40 league games? The fans were immense and what other country can you get over 74,000...

Bravo Essexyellows! You faced a team today. That's it. Third time lucky?

    43,000 reasons to invest!

I am pleased for you that your club is doing well and that you are still in with a shout of the biggest prize. However let's not let facts get in the way, Coventry is bigger than Leicester as a city, of course your club is bigger than ours at the moment but you still felt the need to come on...

    Is 'Not going to Wembley'....

Respect your decision Skybluetony176 but the only person you are hurting is yourself. Coventry City didn't get to Wembley in 104 years and its taken the best part of 30 years this time. I would suggest that you may not be around next time so why not enjoy the day with your fellow Coventrians?

Making our feelings clear at Wembley

I'll tell you whats needed is intelligent protesting, not stupidity. The time for what you are suggesting was at Northampton. Advocating this action is counterproductive, you hurt CCFC, not the owners

    C-Unit Council

Thank you, it was a good read, both your posts and the arena document. Case not proven. I can see why you reach your conclusion but there is no evidence of council wrong doing and even Richardson says he doesn't know what occurred as he was no longer involved.
