    Our path to the playoffs

Ahh but we won v Peterborough away so it didn't change the result ;) I was just picking out goals (in both posts) that actually changed the outcome. If I can take the time to do this at least take the time to read my post properly! Liking that link though, really good way of looking at it...

    Our path to the playoffs

Oh for fucks sake, if you think I'm going to arse around finding all the goals that have cost us as well...then...well...sadly you'd be right. *zips up anorak* Same applies, only result-changing goals: Dales v Scunthorpe H (2-1) 81 Toney v Peterborough H (1-1) 90+ (where Chaplin equalised...

    Our path to the playoffs

I'm incredibly bored and was also just on soccerstats looking at late goals we've scored :emoji_joy: as far as I can see there are 8 that earned us a result, as opposed to being a consolation or when we were already winning: Chaplin (pen) v Oxford A (2-1) 81 Baka x 2 v Charlton A (2-1) - 81...

Match Thread Portsmouth vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Monday 22nd Apr

Basically yeah, they’ve played 4-2-3-1 most of the season. Said I’d take a draw on the other thread, going for 2-2. Portsmouth are good but we’ve got a fairly settled line up that have scored a few goals recently.

    Our path to the playoffs

I’d take remaining unbeaten on Sky this season. We need a win for play offs but they’re gone for me so would take a draw

    Our path to the playoffs

Off the top of my head we haven’t done too badly on tv this season. 1-1 v Luton and 2-1 v Oxford, both away. I think they’re the only ones

Seeing as I'm actually at a computer thought I'd churn this straight out, updated for today v Bradford

Match Thread Chances of Making The Playoffs

I'm definitely pleased it's still technically possible at this stage. We'll miss out but I thought mid- to lower-mid table was where we'd end up so if you'd offered me this at the start of the season I'd have taken it!

Just realised that it sounds like I’m heading back just to comfort him [emoji23] I’m back for my niece’s birthday tomorrow, luckily meant we could meet up for the game. I’ll pass your message on though and two foot him if he’s still being a bitch [emoji1360]

Just on the train to Cov (wrong way I know), gonna listen with my Sunland supporting mate. He’s fallen out with his family (all mackems) and they’ve gone to the game without him so in his words “So ya know what, I might genuinely want Sunderland to lose”

Sympathetic article in The Times sports section today

"The problem has been dire, intransigent and, seemingly, vindictive ownership, facilitated by the weakness of English football’s authorities and aggravated by a council who have sought to fight fire with fire." This line sums it up for me. Like other articles it's very hard on SISU (for very...

Sympathetic article in The Times sports section today

In case anyone can't access it (needs a subscription online) Friday, September 5, 2014. The matrix signs on the M6 warned of a “Major Event”. The tailbacks around the Ricoh Arena confirmed as much. There was elation in the air as Coventry City and their fans made their way back after 503 days...

Match Thread Sunderland vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 13th Apr

Oof hadn't noticed that! Just looked it up and it's Chris Maguire, Dylan McGeouch, Aiden McGeady, Lee Cattermole, Lynden Gooch and Duncan Watmore which should make a huge difference. Fuck it, 4-0 City

Just can't see us getting anything here I'm afraid. They've only lost twice all season and unbeaten at home, think it'll be 3-1.
