I think Robins was frustrated because Vik made it clear he wanted to leave and his position never changed whilst Hamer was less definitive and gave Robins hope he might be persuaded to stay.

    Summer transfer window 2024

Maybe the fee might come down as they get closer to their FFP deadline ….. our new COO is ex Forest so he will have a good idea of the value the club place on Worrall

Nixon says we want Worrall on loan from Forest but Forest want to sell ….

    Summer transfer window 2024

Yes. Nixon tipped us for Rudoni. Where did he end up ? Nixon said Sheaf was wanted by Luton, which you confirmed. it’s not really classic debunking is it 😂

From the moment he came back COH has deflected questions about signing a new deal …. He had no desire to stay.

    Callum O'Hare

Maybe they gave COH the improved offer @Saddlebrains suggested but with a deadline so they knew when to move on ….

    Jack Rudoni

Which is why I think we could end up with Torp as the attacking midfielder ( rather than Palmer or Rudoni ) and another CDM incoming ….

I think spending up to £5m on Rudoni suggests we have all moved on ….

If he moves to Leeds then they are a bigger club than us whether we like that or not. if he moves to Southampton or Burnley then I would say they are similar sized clubs but with a much better record for the last decade …. You could logically argue all 3 are therefore bigger / more...

    Transfer Rumour Ilay Camara

W Will be interesting to see what type the next midfielder is. We assume an 8 but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a CDM. I think Torp can be the 8. Rudoni is the 10. Browne can play in all 3 positions I believe which is why I’m sure his proven capability and versatility appeals.

Good agents work in the best interests of players, poor agents work in their own best interests. We don’t know where COH will end up or on what financial package so we can’t yet judge whether his move is rational or not. What we do know is that COH has not at any point said he wanted to stay...

    Summer transfer window 2024

Yes that’s right. If you stop 100 people in the street and ask them what is a servant ? The most popular answer would be Highly Paid Employee …… I think some fans confuse the idea of a diligent employee who makes a valuable contribution with a servant. They really are not the same.

    Jack Rudoni

Let’s not forget we have Torp too. Sheaf, Torp, Eccles, Rudoni, Palmer …… add another CDM and that is quite a midfield given we only play 3…

    Who is your ideal GK?

37, Captain of Denmark at this Euros … I think he would cope with the Championship 🙄

    Summer transfer window 2024

It is but most employees don’t sign multi year contracts. They have a notice period. in markets where that is not the case, the music industry for example, if a singer wants to leave their record company mid contract then compensation is paid.

    He’s not been a servant …. He’s been a highly paid employee.

Which is why managers should never be anywhere near transfer negotiations ….. So good we gave him a new 2 yr contract but so poor that we should give him away !

    Who is your ideal GK?

Proper leader but will be on way way more than that ….

    New kit thread

Some people clearly don’t know the difference in responsibilities between a CEO and a Chairman. What ever the rights and wrongs of The Monza negotiation it won’t be down to Hoffman, it’s neither his role and he’s conflicted.

    Simon Moore

He must have terrible advisors :… he’s had a tough 2 years on and off the pitch and joins a club with no manager and therefore has no idea whether he will even play !
