I've done some number crunching RE Anderson and I'm getting excited for the summer. If you'll humour me a minute: - 5 tests between now and the Ashes match at Old Trafford - In his last 9 matches (I just went back to last summer) he's taken an average of 4.6 wickets per match - He needs 27 to...

    CBS record.

I saw an away fan recently bemoaning the lack of a shuttle bus from the station like at Reading. No idea how feasible it would be i.e. whether there's enough busses to spare for each home game, but it is ridiculous that there's nothing going to/from the city centre other than taxis which are...

    Champions League 22-23

As long as it stays a 3 goal margin you can bet someone will mention 2005

1 shite goal each, 1 great goal each. Nunez’s finish made me shout out, was filthier than Hugh Hefners bookcase.

    Things that annoy you

The insane increase in the amount of junk emails hitting my Outlook inbox over the last week. Have seen a few other people complaining about the same thing online, it's becoming nigh on unusable

If he takes it I wouldn't be surprised to see him back at Wycombe within 2 years, feels a bit like Eddie Howe leaving Bournemouth for Burnley and to a lesser extent MR leaving us the first time. Sometimes it just works at a club.

Gutted I can't make this one. Low scoring draw, 1-1 with Godden to score It'll be interesting to see what team he goes with now Godden's back. MR's more likely to rest Palmer out of him or Allen so if he does go two up top from the start I think it'll be: Wilson McNally Fadz Doyle BNC Hamer...

I can't work out whether you're a very enthusiastic fan or are the man himself hiding in plain sight, it's so on the nose. Either way I'm here for it

I'm assuming we'll be the same as Tuesday barring any knocks but wouldn't be totally surprised to see something like Walker in for Palmer seeing as the plan was to rest him v Luton. Not much else we can do with Godden and Sheaf out. 2-0 win, Palmer and Vik Wilson McNally Fadz Doyle BNC Hamer...

Also just seen that it's the 1000th wicket from the Anderson/Broad partnership. 1 more to equal Warne/McGrath

Could be a double whammy this. Robins' 300th game in his second stint with us and if we win it'll be the 100th win I've seen live.

    Championship 22-23

Just looked at last nights games and results were about as good as they could have been for us. Anyone who could have overtaken us drew so didn't and bar Middlesbrough, who are probably out of reach now, everyone above us drew too.

The M6 at night, especially when driving back from a midweek game. J15-16 closed last night so had to take a detour through Stoke, Alsager and Sandbach
