    Championship 21/22

Look at the squad turnover & the enormous reduction in squad age & wage bill too.

Difficult to argue he's done anything but a brilliant job at Blackburn tbf. Let's see if they do their traditional post Xmas tail off though.

Dreadful challenge by Robertson, 100% red card. Kane should have been off first half & Liverpool should have had a penalty though. VAR is & always will be a waste of time & money.

It's the correct decision by current laws, still stupid though. Accidental handball that leads to a team-mate scoring a goal or having a goal-scoring opportunity will no longer be considered an offence.

Genuinely incredible that's not given, what is the point of VAR?

Exactly. A few players have spoken out about the after effects of having Covid & how it's affected them: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11679/12497412/kevin-de-bruyne-manchester-city-midfielder-admits-he-is-still-not-fully-recovered-from-coronavirus...

That's absolutely understandable mate, even if it is a coincidence fully understand why you'd want to err on side of caution. My dad had a reaction to first 2 vaccines, thankfully nothing too serious but caused a nasty rash all over his body. Thankfully didn't put him off getting Booster &...

Sorry to hear of your ill health mate. Serious question though, could it not more likely be brought on by the after effects of Covid as seen elsewhere rather than the vaccine?

Stoke game likely to be postponed

That given the majority of their injured players aren't likely back until Feb/March ours are likely to be back for the rearranged fixture & theirs aren't.

Stoke game likely to be postponed

That's a different argument & they will have to have presented their case to the EFL. The conspiracy theory that it's because of these handful of injuries is nonsense. We're likely to have Hamer, Waghorn & JCS back before any of their lot.

Stoke game likely to be postponed

Possibly. I know we've always been very careful on having the first team train away from the U23s & Academy (Ryton v Higgs) perhaps others aren't as prepared or simply don't have the facilities. That's why I was a little surprised JJ, Shipley & Walker played on Tuesday.
  16. Frostie

Stoke game likely to be postponed

But the injured players you're referring to are mostly out until February/March. What's to stop them picking up more injuries in the meantime too? I get we're all frustrated but the conspiracy theories don't hold much weight.
  17. Frostie

Stoke game likely to be postponed

To what end? The fixture will be rearranged for a midweek where all these players will likely still be injured anyway.
  18. Frostie

Stoke game likely to be postponed

Don't get the conspiracy theories here. Their injured players, with the exception of Sawyers, have already been out for weeks & some such as Souttar are long term

What odds on season being postponed?

Have to say I was a little surprised we had those few first teamers mixed with the U23s on Tuesday, thought they'd be kept separate again as much as possible.
