club to hold meetings with fans

The majority of that debt has acrrued because we have bought shite players on high wages. That would not have changed whether we owned the stadium or not. The council are not to blame for at least £42m of our debt, neither are they to blame for the clubs poor transfer and managerial...

club to hold meetings with fans

Ok, so the club is £60m in debt, since 2005 the club has spent around £8m on rent, and lost out on maybe £10m worth of revenue streams (and that is being generous). So taking away the whole stadium issue, the club would still be £42m in debt, so where is this premier league budget coming from?

But Sisu set up the box, how can the Council be held responsible for what is in it?

The FA and Football league seem to disagree.

Thats what I don't understand with them. Hedge funds usually act very quickly. They take over a business, try to restructure it and sell it on or if they cant, shut it down. What they don't do is piss about for 5 years losing money.

Have Sisu ever actually put a serious bid in for the ground?

Peter Waterman tried to buy CCFC

Good point, the millions of international Coventry Telegraph readers will now all know the name Pete Waterman. He will go from a nobody to household name all thanks to the telegraph.

Golden Share Could Be In Holdings After All

Why is it that certain posters come out with the line of "I dont care about ACL, all I care about is city", then when Acl agree a loan arrangement they are all over them? If you are only interested in the football club then where Acl borrows its money from is nothing to do with you.

So ccfc should have a say on what another private business puts its money into? Im all for ccfc owning the Ricoh, but your post makes no sense.

    Sisu

That's simple to understand yet there is more chance of Andy Thorn being the next utd manager than sisu getting their money back.

    Preston Haskell?

Next season is going to be a Mess

I do think if sisu are still in control next season relegation is highly likely.

    Ricoh (The Sponsor)

Lol, I'm sure I've just blown this multi million takeover by my comments! So it isn't all about ffp then?

    Ricoh (The Sponsor)

Whether im a supporter or not is irrelevant, it doesn't change what is morally or legally right. If losses are not important would you be happy for the club to pay £1.3m in rent so long as they got sponsorship money?

    Ricoh (The Sponsor)

Is this the same keepmoat stadium that the council had to give away because it was losing so much money?

Probably about as many that have abandoned DHL in favour of Citylink.
