    Population = Potential - Owners/Investors Please Note

    Thanks, now my reply makes no sense!

    Population = Potential - Owners/Investors Please Note

    Well my counter argument for that is Coventry is centrally located for all our fans!

    Population = Potential - Owners/Investors Please Note

    Its not, its a seperate town, the figures the OP posted showing Nottingham having a population of 285k does not include places like West Bridgeford. Yes when you go to the City Ground it feels like Nottingham, but in terms of the figures its not classed as it.

    Population = Potential - Owners/Investors Please Note

    You don't think much of our support comes from outside the city? I think as a % of the population more of our fans come from Bedworth than Cov.

    I know, it was also the point that I was trying to get across (yet got myself distracted!). Coventry's outer areas have a far lower population than many so called 'comparable' cities.

    No, they play in West Bridgeford.

    Population = Potential - Owners/Investors Please Note

    I agree, but that is the same as all clubs. Most of Leicester's support comes from Leicestershire, not Leicester, in the same way that much of ours comes from Bedworth, Rugby and Nuneaton. Fact is the people who live in the surrounding areas are more likely to have lived round here longer...

    Population = Potential - Owners/Investors Please Note

    Ignoring man made boundary lines, Brandon is about as much of a village as Allesley. The fact you can walk from Broadgate to the Speedway stadium without seeing a bit of countryside suggests to me its part of Coventry.

    Population = Potential - Owners/Investors Please Note

    Not quite, places like Brandon, Binley Woods, Exhall are all considered to be in Coventry but not under the local authority. Forest play in West Bridgeford, one of the many suburbs of Nottingham not part of the city authority. Coventry has very little surrounding area so is a much smaller...

    Vote with Your Feet

    Because getting rid of them doesn't mean death. Staving Sisu of cash is a bit like treating cancer with chemotherapy, painful and unpleasent but necessary for survival. The club in its current state is not my Coventry City.

    Its going to happen anyway as long as Sisu are in charge. Surely we can all see that they are not the owners to take us forward, therefore we should rid ourselves of them as quickly as possible.

    Population = Potential - Owners/Investors Please Note

    The thing you have to remember when looking at these population figures is that they only include the local authority area, not the whole city. Nottingham for instance is far bigger than that suggests, Forest don't actually play their games in Nottingham.

    Judicial review consequences

    My understanding is it might not even get to court yet. All that has happened is Sisu have asked to court to look into it, to see if there is a case to be had.

    Judicial review consequences

    I think even if the council have acted illegally, they have been very clever. The loan to acl was agreed at a full council meeting, meaning the whole council is responsible. The leadership merely proposed it.

    Judicial review consequences

    It would be rather difficult to lock up all 54 city councillors.

    club to hold meetings with fans

    Simple fact is if you run a business you, and you alone are responsible for that business. Sisu are the sole owners, they call all the shots. If they put themselves in a situation where they are vulnerable to administration by an outside company then that is poor management on their part...

    club to hold meetings with fans

    Sisu wouldn't accept it as they feel very strongly about councils that abuse state aid rules. They would insist on paying the full market value.

    club to hold meetings with fans

    B grade A level actually. But seen as I'm so stupid, please explain to me how without Council oppression the club would now be in the Premiership?

    Telegraph article. Talks today.

    Simple question for him, if the Golden Share isn't in Ltd, why has he not just liquidated the company?
