He has a thread already: http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/14316-Platt Herman has one too ;)

all of you slating new duo can just ssshhhhhhhh

TBF, I didn't slate the signings, more that they cost zero pence when SISU have just banked a tidy 1.5-2.25m! If we actually signed a player who will be here beyond this season, on a permanent basis, for a fee, I would be much happier.

Keogh told the ballboy on his flank to slow it down a couple of times, which he also did against Bristol C. Sly dog :D

Ah, the classic "opinion based on someone else's opinion" text/call: I can never understand why people who didn't go up ring in or nominate M.O.M. unless perhaps they have complete faith in Eakin & Foster. Which isn't advisable!

    The League Paper on Twitter

Just what I thought Steve, Lukas + Alex = lethal combo! Nevermind, eh.

In line with all of the positive posts here's another !!

I didn't think it was over the line, but that aside I thought it was the best showing from the match officials collectively that we've had all season, by a very very very very very long way (we seem to get a fat shocker every week).

all of you slating new duo can just ssshhhhhhhh

No, because if they'd allowed Thorn to strengthen sooner we wouldn't be in this mess. And they've hardly broken the bank, have they? That Lukas fee is nice and safe, no chance of us spending that. Thorn deserves the credit for having bugger all budget yet still managing to come up with two gem...

    Keogh's attitude

Me too! Ha, glad I'm not alone in that, then.:D

Oh yeah, I'll let him off alright: I know his limitations, and he's always giving 100%, just heard a few texts on CWR saying he was M.O.M. and figured that they must have been on the other flank to me!

    Keogh's attitude

Keogh made a few bad errors today: the air-kick early on, the stunning OG attempt in the 44th minute, and the hospital pass that he chased after for ages 2nd half. This isn't the first time in recent games he's made a few mistakes that nobody on here shouts up. If Bell, O'Donovan or Clingan had...

    Fat Freddie!

I don't know what this means...but you got a "like", so someone obviously got it :thinking about:

    Fat Freddie!

He didn't exactly deserve the fawning applause either, though, the lazy fat git. My ST money helps pay his wages, bout time he started trying to earn it.

    Scored 3 for first time?

I thought Clingans passing second half was quality! He was constantly talking, closed down relentlessly and he and Connor formed a really strong base for the advanced shape. You've also got to factor in that he's working his way back to full fitness after injury. But City fans don't consider...

    Platt

He was as good as he could be, and fulfilled his role of target man well. But he did also make possibly the two worst passes by a CCFC player since the days of Julian Darby! The outside of the foot one 2nd half by the touchline was hilariously bad! I can imagine lots of fans didn't see it, but...

    The Hermanator!

Oh and I forgot-he won a lot in the air, too. Could easily slot in at CB if required.

    Keogh's attitude

Maybe, but I thought Sammy was superb today, and we won. So no complaints from me!

    Keogh's attitude

Bit of credit to AT for that: he's played a major part in improving his game IMO. And he was a fantastically determined centre-back himself, after all.

Steve Staunton at the game today

There were a few of O'Neill's ex-Celtic players on show, it's probably one of them. I doubt Sunderland will be looking at any of our players: possibly Keogh.

    Deegan the Destroyer

It's easy to lose track of just what a pivotal role this guy played in the first half. Boro were enjoying the majority of play early on and we were struggling to find space to play our passing game in the middle. Gradually, one at a time, Deegan went about disrupting the opposition players. It...

    I agree with Ian

You saw what I saw, Scam: we changed shape about 7 times; everytime Boro adjusted, we tweaked again. It was a tactical masterpiece by Thorn, almost as if he's read the crap on here and was trying to prove a point!
