May as well blame him, he gets blamed for everything else!

If we had new owners in for next season... would you keep Thorn

Well how much was the sale of Lukas down to the owners? How much has been re-invested? How much was the departures of King, Turner, Westwood and Aron down to the owners-and how much of their wages has been re-invested in replacements? Ownership irrelevant? Don't be so pigheaded!

Yeah, they put them up for ages when I wanted to see what the time on the clock was

If we had new owners in for next season... would you keep Thorn

I'd keep Thorn, but if we are still owned by SISU, I hope he either resigns or is fired so that all the twat fans can't keep blaming him for doing the job with both hands tied behind his back. At least then, when we struggle even more, they might open their eyes and realise what a difficult job...

Evatt - Murphy bit my nose

I'm distinctly in your camp on this one, Torch!

    where does?

Well Norwood is behind Sammy for a NI place, and maybe if Sammy's cracking effort had gone in on Tues, people who once hailed him as irreplaceable in our squad would cut him a bit of slack? He's easily our best passer.

    Phone in - Waggotts interview

But you don't like Sheffers anyway though! If he scored 3 in 3 at home (erm..) you'd still think he was rubbish!

    where does?

Another thread turns into a chance to have a go at Sammy?

Thorn likely to be sacked today

Well, this proved well-founded, then! Maybe try again on Monday?

    Phone in - Waggotts interview

Sutty I know what you mean-myself, I think Sheff was looking great up front, but he sounded fairly deep against Blackpool. From what Juggy said tonight his job was to protect the FB..which is not how he flourishes. Another striker will mean he stays deeper, as he's not up front in the "hole"...

    sisu

Really? From what I've seen here of late, on this forum there are far more people who want Thorn fired than kept. Maybe I'm misreading the signals...

Would you have the wee one back as manager?

He was a horrible little man(ager). Great at getting under peoples skin and winding people up, and whenever anyone had put up with enough of his witticisms, Pendry would suddenly appear to act as his "minder".

    a rumour from a "source"

Nice story, but the idea that Ken has a friend somewhat undermines it. :p

We are not getting a new manager

He was never Head Coach, we was Scout.

    The "Thorn Out" brigade

And another thing..if you remember our last five managers, I'd argue that actually Thorn is more proactive with substitutions than any of them, whilst working with the clubs weakest bench since relegation. I don't remember many of our previous gaffers transforming matches with double half-time...
