    COV RFC 2022 - 2023

I didn't get the chance, Mum was too excited and booked them herself without giving any thought to the fact she might be a concession. I've let her know for next time, part of the reason I'm taking her is because she wants to take my rugby-mad niece at some point and wanted to do a recce first...

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs Stoke City Match Thread - Saturday 1st Apr

Even if they do, they'll be pedal to the metal v Blackburn surely. A feisty local derby is just about the best game in hand they could have from our point of view

    Pub's now and then.

This advert for pubs (not a specific pub, just pubs in general) by Bobby Moore lives in my head rent free

    Conte gone

The official statement says it's by "mutual consent" which probably affects any potential pay out. That could just be waffle so neither of them lose face though.

    QPR away

I can't afford it because of doing all the northern games in the last month and wanting to do Blackburn and Middlesbrough more. Don't quote me on this but I have a feeling the "Restricted sightline" tickets may be in the upper tier where you can't see the goal line of the goal at that end.

Thanks very much. They do have advanced prices, I'm going to buy before I head down but just wondered if my Mum counts as a senior. We'll be walking from hers in Earlsdon.

I'm heading down on Friday night seeing as it doesn't clash with the City for once. Does anyone know what counts as a concession? Can't find anything on the website.

    No game this weekend

Solid but unspectacular. Good assist for the 2nd goal, involved in the build up for 2 of the others. Garcia was the best player on the pitch after she came on.

    No game this weekend

Ended up at Old Trafford watching Man Utd women, decent crowd and enjoyed the game. 70% possession in the first half without doing anything with it, scored 4 in the second half

Most Nerve Racking Experience You've Ever Had?

Sky diving's definitely up there. They filmed it and you can pinpoint the moment I regretted every life decision that had led me to that point.

I was thinking similar, got a few decent options up here. Altrincham v Southend or Oldham v Solihull in the National League, or alternatively I could go to Curzon Ashton to see if Marco Rus gets a game for Chorley. Or I could do neither and watch Man U Women v West Ham Women at OId Trafford.

    Oasis reunion

I never got to see them live first time around so would be very tempted. If they did get back together I'd rather it was to tour and play existing songs than try and make a new album, don't see that ending well.

    Season tickets

Not bad considering they've improved their league position from *checks notes* 16th to 13th (so far) over the last 5 years

Christ this takes me back, used to love this and Mulder and Scully when I was a kid. Just looked and I was 6 when they came out

    Bed Moisture Check

I think the most important thing to note here is that we could be safe from relegation after the Stoke game, as long as we better Huddersfield's result v Middlesbrough.

    The measurement of success

From a stats point of view, despite everything we're now 2 points better off than this stage last season. Defence has obviously been a big part of that while goals scored is basically the same. 8 games to go to keep progressing, last season our last 8 was W2 D3 L3
