Lose the Gut Thread (Following on from New Year's Resolution)

In fairness Moff, your jog is probably my sprint. I play 5-a-side twice a week, and try to go out for a run or a ride on at least one other day, and I'm still getting fatter! I know that inside me though is a finely tuned athlete just busting to get out and shine. Possibly two. :)

It would if they were going through Oxford, but they aren't. Or Millwall, or Villa. :)

    Trains on Sunday

When I looked at it a while back it seemed to suggest that some trains coming back from Wembley Stadium station would require a change at Beaconsfield for Warwick. That might have changed now because Chiltern do seem switched onto this. Trains from Warwick in the morning all seem to be direct...

    Trains on Sunday

Fwiw everything I could see out of Warwick on Sunday morning looked direct to Wembley Stadium. I'm not sure about the return journey though...

Like it... How can I miss you when you won't bloody well leave? :) Alternate country song title: I'm still missing you (but my aim is getting better).

    Trains on Sunday

No mate, on the way down they're direct on a different line. On the way back there might be crossover of fans at Beaconsfield and somewhere else where there's a change required. I can't see any that actually go through Oxford and onto Warwick, I think Oxford and Oxford Parkway sit on a...

Fair call, but I reckon the coach from Cov is a better option personally if you've not booked. Warwick Parkway shouldn't be too bad either, though I fancy it'll be standing room only for the earlier trains.

Are they calling you 'plucky little Oxford' yet. You know that they're going to do that, despite the mere 27 points that you're above us in the table!! :)

Fwiw, for anyone fretting, National Express still seem to be taking bookings on coaches direct to Wembley from Cov. I'd use them or Warwick Parkway personally.

    Trains on Sunday

Before people get worked up into a lather over a story that hasn't been verified anywhere other than on facebook, Chiltern have got a number of extra trains running from Warwick Parkway. Funnily enough, they're used to dealing with Wembley given that this is on their line so they'll be switched...

As other thread - beware of taking this at face value. Which staff did she speak to, and from which operator. Chiltern are clearly aware of demand and are laying on extra trains - Virgin and London Midland could do with commentating though.

    Trains on Sunday

Unless the person raising this has spoken to all three operators, I'd have some doubts about this. Chiltern are definitely laying on extra trains, and I can't beleive that Virgin and London Midland haven't taken notice of demand either. Would be nice to have an official announcement of course...

Have we sold out for Wembley?

Well, you could argue that we're a tin pot club these days. I'll drop you a line when we're in the Champions League final though, maybe you'll be able to pop along if you're not too busy.

    1987 Cup Final Hat

A mate of mine at the club shop said we had 32,000 of these in yesterday, but they've all sold out. ;) Ah, that's never going to get old... anyway, I had one of these too, but God knows where it's got to - at the bottom of a box somewhere no doubt. I obviously bought it though I don't...

The Butts - CRFC Confirms it is willing to join mediation talks

Ditto OSB, I know that you come at this fairly and if we differ it's in the right spirit. Your question is better than mine, indisputably. :) I think that there's every possibility that the mediation is just another SISU smokescreen. I absolutely accept that, I guess what I want is for the...
