    Summer Transfer Window

Sheaf talent-wise I’d agree. But given he has 1 year left and his injury record is likely to count against him. You’ve also got to look at him just running his contract down. The optimal time was to sell him in the summer just gone on Eccles - you’re examples suggests he will only be worth...

    Summer Transfer Window

I did wonder that, regarding him throwing others off the scent. It’s probably some kind of deal like we had with madders - if they’re entitled to say 15% of the sell on it’s about 500k isn’t it

    Summer Transfer Window

It’s something Doug said a month or two ago. He said we’d have to pay a significant chunk of the sell on to Brighton. Or words to that effect

    Summer Transfer Window

We’re not getting 5m for Eccles, and given his injury record and the fact he’s out of contract - 7m for sheaf seems a bit much atm we’re only getting 10% profit for Vik at they’re talking 58m for him so that’s roughly 3.8m then you have to take off what we have to give to Brighton from that...

Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

We’ve caught up 9 points on West Brom since Lampard has been here. West Brom frustrate me becuase in recent years they’ve not been better than us. but they beat us it tight games. That Good Friday game is going to be critical

    We are right in it

I’ve had a few - but doesn’t the amount of “lucky” games seen similar to 22/23?

Im posting Something positive about frank lampard

Towards the end of that season our tactic was effectively - sit back and get the ball to Gyokeres. it weren’t flowing but it was successful

I’ll take a draw here - be a difficult game, then Lamps can endear himself more by beating Preston next week

Im posting Something positive about frank lampard

See I think his reputation will get him poached. the media are in overdrive repairing his reputation. I agree - I don’t think he’s doing anything special, but I’m still convinced he does enough here with a decent squad to repair that reputation and he’ll he off. I’ve said it before - I don’t...

    Overrated players

You can only really base it on his time with us though . wise looked a class apart when he played for us. Him in our midfield led to us finishing 8th that season we never hit those heights again until Gyokeres turned up

    Overrated players

Gotta disagree on this one. Scored 6 in like 13 games and it was the only time Doyle looked like a decent midfielder. Made our midfield look class. that being said - always remember he should have been sent off like 5 seconds into his debut against Derby

    Overrated players

I was young when he was here but I recall him being injured for his first 2 seasons and class in his final season just in time to do a runner to Liverpool.

I’d echo others here… Doyle and Konjic… gonna throw 2 others who I just couldn’t get the love for Richard Shaw and Marcus Hall

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

he was stood outside the bus stating it. He pretty much endorsed it. Correct - he wasn’t part of the government so ultimately he had no power whatsoever. But everything the leave.eu campaign promised has been bollocks

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I Dunno the biggest lie was found merely hours after the biggest decision in the country’s history was taken. Remember that £350m a day Boris and Nigel promised us for the NHS? Nige backtracked in an interview directly following the result. We then voted in great numbers for Boris to lead the...
