    Championship thread 24/25!

I don’t think either, but you can’t blanket approach it as “they need time” They’ll have more of a view on it than we will, we know Robins will sort that out, so he’ll need time. That being said, outside of us and Rotherham where he was really up against it robins hasn’t really excelled

Probably, but by all accounts he was clueless. I mean if we had Rooney and he was clueless after 9 games - would you advocate for more time?

    Championship thread 24/25!

I’m sure I read somewhere his record is worse than Pelach’s after 9 games ironically his best period for us when he was on the brink. I was an advocate of his time was up, but the timing of his sacking was odd considering we’d won I think 2/3 games before derby

    Championship thread 24/25!

Robins will be in his comfort zone. I’ve said this before, he performs best when his back is against the wall. he’ll create a siege mentality and push to sign players than might not necessarily be top players, but will have enough about them to run through brick walls for him

    Apologies to Dean Austin

I think what’s helped massively is signing Grimes. We’ve desperately needed someone like him since Hamer went. be interesting to see what we do in the summer

    Championship thread 24/25!

Robins will keep Stoke up - there’s 3 worse teams than them. the squad is garbage, they shouldn’t have beat us first game, not sure what he can do with them. Got to give him a. Transfer window to see what he can change.

While the sky is blue - The Believers

If I recall this used to come on before they walked out of the tunnel, late 90s?

All this talk - watch us get beat by Oxford on Saturday 😂😂 we can go back to arguing and fighting with each other…. Matt smith will make an appearance discussing whether 50 points is enough to stay up, we’ll be blaming everyone from Lampard, to Dr Roberts and claiming Doug King is at fault..

While the sky is blue - The Believers

Nor does our main anthem in its current iteration 2bf Tottenham, Or Chelsea, United or anyone

I’d agree with this. Blackburn will drop away. So 2 from: Us, Norwich, West Brom and Bristol

I think our next marker will be after the Sunderland, Sheff Utd, Burnley games. if we’re within 3 points off the play offs then, we’ll make them

Match Thread Coventry City - Preston North End FC Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Feb

I’m in this window. Lampard is doing a great job, I get this nagging feeling that the more his reputation repairs, Chelsea could be back soon. He’s still held in high regard there

Match Thread Coventry City - Preston North End FC Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Feb

2 totally different players who offer different things. Rudoni is more creative, but O’Hare is an engine room. Both very much top end championship players

I loved him - wasn’t quite the same when we permanently signed him though.

Forget the players - I’m superstitious. If we beat Preston I’m booking my Wembley hotel

Are we going to "shit" our way up!?

And I’ll die on the hill that if Gus didn’t go off the pitch we win in 90 mins. He was starting to become more influential as the game was going on

    Players coming through

It’s the limitations to the category 2 academy. It’s alright at the league one and two levels, but the higher up we go the harder it will be to break through

Video Matt Grimes with a perfect pass 🤤

Only passes backwards or sideways according to Swansea fans though

    Jack Rudoni

Rudoni and O’Hare are different players. O’Hare would often pick the ball up and drive at the opposition. He’d cause all sorts of issues that way. He was the energy and engine driving the team forward Rudoni is the creative type who likes to be on the end of that Grimes pass and set the...
