I can't remember either, but I would argue the academy is the only bit of the club that hasn't declined. I doubt you could say its improved, as we produced some decent players out of it pre-sisu. According to OSB we will struggle to keep academy status next year anyway.

It was the previous owners that started this whole mess off, but that doesn't mean Sisu are any better. They could have prevented the 'inevitable' as you call it, every major decision they have got wrong, and its not all to do with money.

Grego, can you name just one area where the club has improved since Sisu took over? I expect any new owner to at least improve the club in some way. They have done nothing.

Surely the best option is owning the Ricoh income streams? Sisu are the one organisation that can't give the club that.

If Fisher has a problem with threats to his family or abusive text messages then he should go to the police. What he shouldn't be doing is going round accusing innocent people.

From what the guy heading the bid was saying on the radio that is the route they will go down. Said along the lines of the Freehold isn't important, the revenues are.

Without knowing the facts, my instinct tells me Haskell sounds the better bidder. The fact that the Asian bidders would hide behind a 'public board' concerns me. Haskell seems a lot more open. Also his interest seems to have existed for a while, whereas these seem to have come from...
