You've just said it yourself, a good player AND an athletes, Allen is not a good player. Yes he runs around a lot and covers a lot of ground, but so does a blind dog running after a tennis ball.

And yet ironically, had he not got injured, he could be at a top 6 club right now.

I'd add Fadz and maybe Bidwell who looks solid enough defensively to your 4 which gives us 6. And potentially Mcnally and Doyle may prove to be good enough. But that still leaves us short. We are still in need of a keeper, RWB, AM and another striker.
