    Cwr

Depressingly uplifting. Excitingly dull. Irritatingly soothing. Focussed meandering. Successful failure (see Dulieu, Ken).

Nah, it was from SISU HQ: every time Fisher went to say something truthful, Onye put his hand over the mouthpiece..

    Loans under stones

I almost choked on my lunch when I read this corker today. We've already unturned all the stones, what will doing that again achieve?! They need a new PR Phrase Book.

Still looking for loans - Fisher

He's not a Wum, he just has a different opinion to yours.

So how well SHOULD Thorn be doing?

Not really: the squad is shit because there aren't enough players, not to mention too many lacking experience (none of whom were scouted by Thorn) being relied upon to play every single week (making inconsistency far more likely). The squad would certainly be stronger if it contained any of...

Still looking for loans - Fisher

I'm looking for a new car, but I only have a budget of £5. "I'll keep looking"

Still looking for loans - Fisher

Tim Fisher really grinds my gears. Is he Paul Clouting's long lost brother or what?!

A simply poll question re: Andy Thorn

Interestingly, Eakin could say from August until about October "Obviously, very few people are blaming the manager, his hands are tied". Now most people are blaming the manager, yet nothing has changed regarding the resources available to him. Indeed, we've sold our top-goalscorer. It's nice...

Do be fair to Thorn he attracts good loan signings...

No worries mate, I tend to agree with a lot of what you say, but we are not the same person! You can join me and Torchies Thorn Appreciation Society if you like, though ;)

Can people see the impact of SISU's decision

No, but their hardball approach has seen a long list of players enter the final year of their contract (making selling them the only smart move to avoid making a loss on a player). In particular, they pretty much abused the fact that we got a couple of guys on cheap, lower-division wages because...

Do be fair to Thorn he attracts good loan signings...

You cheeky bastard! I am a mate of Torchomatic but I can assure you we are not the same person. dongozalas has a few whiffs of Howzer about him, but is generally more polite, logical and..well, less insane.

    Cody Macdonald may return Saturday

And if anything, in Norwood we may actually have the guy who can pick a pass now and again.

    Cody Macdonald may return Saturday

Agreed. It's already a bit worrying that our only real attacking spark (Nimely) won't be here next season, and we need to try and get the best out of Cody. Rather him than Freddy. I'm one of his greatest critics (well me and kduffy), but I'd love to see him prove me wrong.

    Do they really care ?

Sorry, I can't help it, I've always been one of those fans who wants the players to do well so much that I mostly see the positives of their play and not their negatives. Not always though-I slagged off Joe Murphy last week, and after he'd played well! I wouldn't say that explains my attitude...

    Do they really care ?

Just because you don't agree with me, you can't accuse me of being a WUM. I know a lot of people who share my views about Thorn and the present squad, including the season ticket holders I sit with. If it helps, I think you're crazy too, but I don't think you're a WUM. Aside from the calling me...

    Thursdays Annoucement

Ooh at last, each week I've had my hopes up, but it sounds like this Thursday is the big one then!

For those who suggest we are not playing more kids than anyone else i.e. Derby

He's 22 actually, spent years in the youth side at Man City.

    Do they really care ?

Not saying they deserve a comfort cuddle for it, just saying that's what I think the cause is. Thanks for the invaluable incisive analysis as ever, though! I really have missed being at playschool.
