    Walsh not in Brizzle Squad

He can't be involved, even if they wanted him to.

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

Do people really have nothing better to do? :emoji_rolling_eyes:

    Interesting Trust Action

Pretty clear they don't actually want change but want to appear as if they do.
  4. Frostie

    George Thomas

He's been injured since October tbf.
  5. Frostie

    Tom Flanagan

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, especially with Rose's injury situation.
  6. Frostie

    George Thomas

No. That was Ben Stevenson who had his dad phone in sick for him.
  7. Frostie

    Realistic signings

He's on £17k per week at the minute, Hull had the option to extend but he'd get an automatic increase to £20k if triggered. Think he will probably want more than we would be looking to offer.

Method of Rating Manager Transfer Ability

Exactly right, plus the likes of Pep like to rotate a lot. From that graph, would anybody in the world class Harry Maguire as a bigger success than Sterling or Mané!? :emoji_confused:

    Liverpool

Nobody has a problem with Liverpool winning the league, one of the best teams in years but it's their plastic fans that rile people. And things like this:

    Tom Flanagan

I agree which is why I'd be very surprised if there's any truth in the Tom Clarke link too. More likely agents touting imo.

    Agents fees

Can also be negotiating players out too. I'd imagine Sunderland's includes offloading some of their previous high earners. Still utter madness.
  12. Frostie

    Tom Clarke

Wouldn't really fit the model imo, the experience & leadership would definitely be valuable but he's really poor on the ball.
  13. Frostie

    Tom Flanagan

Agree & also agree with SBD. He's not a bad player but not better than the 4 first team CBs we already have. Coming in as 5th choice would only stand in the way of developing Williams & Drysdale. If we bring in another CB he has to be to challenge the current established 3.

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

Exactly. Villa probably believe that what they offered previously is as much as they are prepared to offer & with him already refusing it they're prepared to allow him to leave with compensation.

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

Yes, so as I suspected by the wording, he was offered one previously but not offered again recently. So it only needs that previous offer to be at least as good as his current contract for them to be entitled to compensation.

Transfer Rumour Callum O'Hare - Confirmed

I wonder if he's not been offered a new one recently having rejected others previously - so both are kind of correct? As you say, makes little sense not to try & get something for him.
  17. Frostie

    Tom Flanagan

Bailey Wright, Aussie international on loan from Bristol City - easily their best defender at the time. He's out of contract now & I think they'll be pursuing him on a permanent deal.
  18. Frostie

Out of contract players refusing to play

Bardsley played the full 90 in all of their previous 4 games which they were unbeaten in, Lennon is a squad player & Hendrick is one of their top stars. Full squad is massively important at the moment with them playing 3 games in a week hence the additional subs etc.
  19. Frostie

    Tom Flanagan

Not for me. He wouldn't displace any of our current starting 3 or Pask imo. So 5th choice at best & that would surely hamper the development of Williams & Drysdale? If we're bringing in a CB they'd have to be to at least the level of our current starters.
  20. Frostie

Out of contract players refusing to play

Jeff Hendrick, Phil Bardsley, Aaron Lennon and Joe Hart unavailable as they haven't re-negotiated new or extended contracts. Following on from Ryan Fraser refusing to play for Bournemouth. Another reason Leagues 1 & 2 would have found it difficult to continue.
