I'm not sure how solid our interest was but I heard that Twine turned down more than one Championship club to sign for MK Dons.

Would have to be one of the biggest failures of all time by Scott Parker given the quality (& expense) of that Bournemouth side. Never really understood the attraction of him as a manager tbh. Joel Piroe is a quite exceptional player btw.

That was the belief when the rules were first touted, when they actually came in he would have just about qualified but it was close. The likes of Dacosta, Jobello, Hilßner wouldn't - maybe that would have been a blessing?

There has been dozens of articles about the new rules, he could have read any of them or even actually read the rules themselves that are freely available from the FA rather than double down & make himself look silly but alas...
