    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Horse shit. Name me one law or policy that prioritises non-whites over whites.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Honestly, you are a horrible prick. "The ethnic".

    Youth players signing new deals

Thinking about it, he wasn't actually given a contract to sign until about last April so the 2 year deal may well be until 2019.

    Player Ratings

But Grendel has highlighted him as having a particularly bad game compared to everyone else. It’s bullshit. Not arguing that he played well, but he certainly didn’t stand out as being worse than anyone else. I’d have said JCH and Bayliss were worse than him for example.

Haynes significantly worse than everyone else? Ok then. You are hilariously pig-headed when it comes to certain players.

    Things that annoy you

Admiral by any chance? Phoned up on my last renewal and magically the renewal quote shed £200 before I took it up. Unbelievable how valuable a phone call is at times.

    Season Tickets

Is the monthly instalment option interest-free?

    Season Tickets

And we had cheaper tickets the other year. Didn’t see any more season ticket holders that year, hence the price went up again. As a fan base, we seem to be very price inelastic, so price changes don’t really make a difference to uptake on tickets.

Maplin and Toys R Us next to go pop!

Seemingly against the grain, I much prefer Italian restaurants over Nando’s and Wagamama. The thing is the latter 2 gained massive traction across young people as the ‘in’ places to go. Nando’s particularly puzzles me, as it is half self-service and I don’t want to be farting around getting up...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

But running a common currency covering a number of different economies all performing at varying levels goes completely against fiscal and monetary control principles. And when one starts to fail (let’s say Greece) the currency would usually be devalued to help them stabilise, but nope the EU...

Maplin and Toys R Us next to go pop!

People who would rather buy their meat from Tesco than a local butcher are already a lost cause :pompus: I understand both sides of this really, but working with clients I’ve had in the past I see the difference it makes to small local businesses and so tend to use them where I can over...

    Copthorne Park

Realistically probably around 15 acres. I’ve been having a rough look since reading in the accounts that we still intend on building a new stadium (ok I’m well aware it’s probably lip service, but got me thinking). Could Hearsall Common be doable? Very good size for stadium, parking and any...

    Top goalscorer odds

Yes but you’d get dead heat odds for the ones on 15 goals, so 1/4 of the each way odds (likely 1/8 of the price)

Match Thread Coventry City at Mansfield Town Match Thread - Saturday 24th Feb

I would expect so, although with Robins mentioning a diamond the other week it may not be. I’d actually like to see a diamond midfield out of them 4.

    Slade

The fact is we had a short-term upturn in results. Whether it lasted or not isn’t really up for debate, because we all know the answer to that one.

    Slade

Think you’ve decided to ignore your own point though. You said there was no new manager bounce when Thorn took over. He got 11 points in his first 6 games. I don’t think anyone but you is debating what he did in his second season or indeed the rest of his career. It’s well documented that he was...

    Signings for next season

Centre mid v Blackburn along with Stevenson. Got torn to shreds.

    Signings for next season

Pretty much mirror this. Think we’re likely to lose at least one of Willis, Bayliss or McNulty, although I think MM is the most likely to stay out of the 3. The real challenge will be replacing them.

too many key players injured... too many lightweights

Genuine question because I can’t remember, but aside from the fact we had far superior players to now, did Robins have these negative tactical tendencies in his first spell with us? I recall some big wins but can’t recall whether our overall play was more attacking or not.
