all the staff yesterday had a meeting at the ricoh

Exactly what I've thought for some time: admin won't happen unless it's in SISU's interests. I generally thought it just wouldn't happen for that very reason-they may lose too much. But if they have managed to structure it in the way you say, which I've been suspecting was their intention long...

Paul Barber to turn us around???

Love it! We'll find out soon that The Stazi have been brought out of retirement to run matters at the club and convert it to a fully operational Communist Dictatorship ;)

Paul Barber to turn us around???

Tsk, silly billy's, 5 pages all about a man who is absolutely nothing to do with us?! I'll get me coat.

Paul Barber to turn us around???

Spot on-we can't run away from out obligations like spoilt brats. As far as liquidation goes-if so we should sue The Football League for allowing such fit and improper person's to have been allowed to take control of a football club! A hedge fund? WTF did they think the intentions of such...

Paul Barber to turn us around???

It's the cost of another director that concerns me: the player wage bill has probably been at least halved in the past year or two, but surely theses men who contribute nothing to the club cost a lot more-and even more when we have to pay them off within a year! Anyone else think directors is...

    This season

I think Cody was just starting to come good, shame he wasn't fit when we signed him. Could be the main man for us next season, as long as he isn't sold, of course.

    Crunch time Sisu !!!!!!!

I wonder what odds a bookies would give me on us to be deducted points at some stage next season?

    Was this all lies?...

Nah, KD and Onye could never come up with a plan that clever!

    This season

You reckon they'll go down next year, then? I like your optimism...in thinking we'll stay up! :p As to the OP-yup, felt like a loss to me. I thought that was when we got relegated. But we were our own worst enemy sitting deep and it was always going to happen with the dangerous players you...

    Thorn speaks...

Do you know what time it was? Should be available on Listen Again, I'd like to hear it from the horses mouth, so to speak. Otherwise, "Fisher sleeps with the fishes"..metaphorically in my estimation so to speak.

Didn't we win 6 on the bounce at home? The players certainly played with miles more confidence in both that, and the long unbeaten run. Makes a huge difference to end results, momentum and morale!

Agreed, we have to take it all with a pinch of salt-there's so much spin it's worse than a General Election, and in those, you're usually being lied to by everybody. You won't get your wish though: like the electorate, the fan is always the one who gets shafted from every direction in these...

Honestly, I used the pickle word before I read your post. Pickle it is, then, we have a consensus :D

They'd be mad not to, the pickle they've put us in. Only thing I can think of is that our huge losses our working as a tax-loss for them, but if that was the case, why didn't they spend something in one of the last 3 transfer windows? I don't understand the tax-loss scenario, so if someone...

    There's hope.....!

There'd be a few less wankers about, at least :p

You could buy The Ricoh with the cost of that makeover!

We need to get real !

..'cos you need a Cathedral to be a City, like...or needed to in the good old days. Now they dole them out to Welsh hamlets: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-north-east-wales-17365580

We need to get real !

Jerry had a crack, but couldn't quite get the job done ;) Agreed there might be some long-term scope with working alongside the Rugby club a bit more. I certainly can't believe how far they've sunk, but we should take that as a warning that if we do start again in non-league, as I said...

Who's the bloke at the snooker?

My paper-boys mate's dad's brother's doctor's postman drinks in the same pub as him, so I guess it's mine too.

We need to get real !

Unfortunately, that's the club's bed and it has to lie in it. I agree that it sucks, bit that's tough titties. You can try and "come to an arrangement" with the people we pay money to, but I'd suggest that the present SISU route of simply not paying it isn't really the ethical, proper way to go...
