The obsession with Doyle in our fan base is ridiculous, he was good for us 3 years ago in a system that massively covered his weaknesses, he’s not progressed since leaving and he couldn’t nail down a place in a team that finished 13th last season. Hughes would be a better signing IMO.

Thomas Kitching Lati and Perry is not good enough for what we want to do this year. We need at least 1 more starting calibre centre back.

@Jimmy87 is usually bang on the money and he’s said we’re after a right sided attacker, id expect that to come to fruition. Binks also needs replacing and I think whoever we bring in will start over Kitching.

I am very confident we will sign a CB and another attacker before end of August.

Yeah but look at the like of Colwill and Guehi. 1 good year in the championship then both premier league regulars the next season. Doyle hasn’t really progressed much since he was here before.
