Apparently a bid was accepted from another yorkshire club he was linked with but he wants to play in the Prem, he should enjoy his season there anyway. I'm sure there is a flight every 3 weeks from Doncaster airport to Amsterdam.
At the outset of the thread the consensus was definitely to pay him what he wanted and for him to stay, it doesn't look like that is happening now. It sounds like he might have even played his final game.
Our midfield 3 struggled in the last 20 minutes, it is undeniable. Look at the time Praet had to cross for the first.

Enjoyed the Mahou for the Boro play off game, hope they've not fucked it off for Stella. Even though Stella is usually ok.

16 starts in total last season which isn't much, 2 of those after the new year.
Funny though his only two starts for Everton were away at Old Trafford and Anfield.

Agreed. I'm also of a mind that Eccles was very good in central midfield last season, very good at seeing and snuffing out danger. Seems silly to give that up.

Few factors at play. They ended last season badly and have started this in the same fashion. Their last away game was at the same ground at the same silly kick off time. Many wouldn't fancy it.
Good luck to him, Eccles' loan to Gillingham did him a lot of good. On the other hand it is a bit strange to leave us short of RWB cover so I wouldn't be surprised to see a loan come in.

I don't think Hamer going off was the reason we lost last night, poor defending and finishing was. As it was on Saturday.

I think we've got an issue with fitness due the poor preparation this summer, e.g. the Portuguese tour with no friendlies and the lateness of some of the signings. Two games lost in the last 15 minutes after being in control.

There definitely needs to be some protection for pubs as a cultural icon. Breweries too get nothing from government despite being an industry that could largely get by with solely home grown inputs.

Twisted Barrel beer is much better than Dhillons. Byatts is too. I think the difference is that Dhillons is primarily a retailer that brews some of its own so is more interested in this sort of endeavour.
