Decent, and we should be further ahead, really. They're getting some joy down the wings, though.

    Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

Considering this, it's an exceptional start that the team have made.

He puts dangerous balls into the box, and has has excellent vision, so frequently plays balls in over the top from out wide. He doesn't carry much of a goal threat himself, but he's been unlucky not to have a few assists to his name this season. He's also a real pain in the arse for defenders.

It's also really weird, because it tells you how important the city was to the war effort and the sacrifice that it made in the fight against fascism.

That's a leg-breaker. He's very lucky there, but not half as lucky as the bloke on the receiving end.

In the toilets? Can you see why that might be problematic?

"More than enough of a threat to get a goal back." They carried no goal threat at all, even with eleven men. They came with some battle and closed the spaces reasonably well for 15 minutes, but had no threat whatsoever. I mean, none. Nada. Zilch. I also don't know how it's possible to argue...

I like Birmingham as a place; it was the scene of much 1990s excess for me. This lot, though, are just an embarrassment to it. They have a higher twat to normal supporter ratio than most clubs, and that's the truth.

And I forgot Eccles. He gives you that proper bite in the midfield; he's an excellent option.

And props to Simms; that was a great cameo.

Extremely easy win. Dasilva absolutely superb today. MvE, BTA, Grimes and Torp also excellent.

Rushworth has worried me with a couple of hospital passes out, and that was brainless from Wright at the end. Not a good game of football, but excellent commitment and fight shown in that half. Just avoid doing anything silly.

Other than for the reason I stated. I don't know if I'm right, but it seems reasonable. And probably all reds still count in this event so that subjectivity doesn't come into play.

I guess the worry was that if someone gets sent off for something very serious, and the result's voided, then they escape punishment. So a rule was put in to make sure red cards stood regardless. Just conjecture, but it would make sense. You don't want someone getting away with a leg-breaker...

He's also brave, which Collins isn't. He's not first choice quality, but he's million miles better than Collins.

I don't think I'll ever stop going on about this, but if you you have to go down to examining minute fractions of centimetres between imaginary lines on the pitch, then the things you are looking for don't matter. That nonsense has lessened the game of football. Also, that game is the only one...

Yep, a bit of a European adventure, see some clubs that I've never seen us face before. It would also mean that we'd have probably won a trophy. Whilst obviously I want us to be successful and get promoted, the Premier League itself holds no real appeal.

I think the Oxford game the main disappointment was that the game should have been done and dusted by half-time.

Disputing this specifically: "Growing up was the same, away from home I mean." In the era you referenced, we won away at the big clubs about as often as you'd expect us to have done. Far less often that we lost, obviously, but it wasn't unknown.
