I can’t quite work it out with Sakamoto - that’s just my take on his work. He appears to be slightly wider than BTA. that’s not to say that’s right - he does cut in a lot but seems to put more crosses in than BTA. BTA seems to drive more and MVE does the crosses.

I think our right side operates slightly more central - atm BTA plays almost like a second striker whilst MVE operates the right wing I think when Sakamoto plays it operates the same as the left

It was - at the time he was the best finisher I’ve seen for us, probably still is. Was convinced he was going to the very top When you mentioned him I thought about reconsidering my team. But Gyokeres’ all round ability nudged him ahead for me. Same with Wright.

I find the problem is we've had Gyokeres and Wright in that timeframe - who for us were doing it at a miuch higher level, the level we've been playing at and especially our forward play pushes them down. Not that they weren't class. Stockdale is a great shout - he was a really solid keeper.

But given the collective purchasing of the premier league rights - it doesn’t matter if it’s Celtic or Brentford. They’d suffer the same issue as Newcastle - no matter how much money they have… no fucker wants to live up north

It’s almost like the league and to an extent Celtic and rangers have been left behind. I don’t doubt that they have worldwide following. But the only metric you can look at that on is social media followers (I know o know - not the be all and end all) both sides lag behind even Leicester City.
