By blackmail? When they knew the facts full well all along-as OSB says, whi is it only an issue now? And in reality, this is bigger than just the rent, it's "the model". WHICH THEY KNEW WAS FLAWED, THAT'S WHY THEY WERE PLANNING TO SPEND UNTIL PROMOTION!
OK it's a rubbish plan, but that too is...
They want a rent reduction, for free. They have zero entitlement to that, and it is in no way in ACL or the councils interest financially. Can you say why they should get a rent reduction? Because we got relegated and can no longer afford it? Yes, and whose fault was that, as Fisher himself has...
Exactly, and I can't believe people can't see this. I've been prepared to give them a chance, but it looks like they want something for nothing (Again! Sounds familiar, right ex-shareholders?). They are using blackmail, and are utterly morally bankrupt.
And their Minister of Propagnda can do...
"Mutual Destruction"? What is this, a nuclear conflict? What a bunch of dicks! That's my mind made up, they won't get another penny off me.

Agreed, although I was the only one making a song and dance about it a few days ago:
I reckon Carsley read what I thought, and decided to rip me off ;)
Yes, but those posts were clearly wrong. If 8k is the most we can possibly stretch to-and that isn't new, it was revealed in January when we first made Sammy and Cranie contracts. Baker is probably on 3-4k p/w.
They'd still be on double that at least even at Walsall. The average L1 youngster is probably 800-1k p/w. That big move to a giant like us will see agents demanding 3k at least, and we'll be "blown out of the water" by Championship clubs-but nothing new there!
You mean you don't think the commercial team were just being nice? You think they just want our money? Hmm, I'd say you are being cynical, but the clue that you're just being factual is kinda in their job titles. ;)
Good at Barnsley in our division, but a bit crap at Bristol I'd say from that. Unlike Eastwood, he did become a much better player after leaving Southend.
And by then, there will be so few away fans, we will no longer be able to hear him singing "your grounds too big for you!"
Incidentally, next season, can we please sing back "It's not our ground, we don't own shit", or something similar. Thanks.
Lots of soft spots for various teams, but I just follow it all in general. AFC Wimbledon were an obvious favourite. So we should leave Jack Midson exactly where he is, he wouldn't step up, oh no, not good enough
Kaid Mohammad at Cheltenham is an ex-Don who was great in non-league...
Williams is rubbish, was a boo boy for Bristol Rovers fans in their L1 relegation campaign 2 seasons back, bit of a tryer but nothing else. He's done well this year for Yeovil but still doesn't look a good L1 player to me. Just a flash in the pan good season he's had IMO.
