    Happy Wedding Anniversary Joy

I reckon it's deliberate..she got married in Hell, on Satan Time.

    Hoffman made another bid

Well that's just it-he'd love to save us, and is a professional man, but he can't magic up money out of nothing. Welcome to the worst era in modern Western history to be trying to raise cash for a multi-million pound venture! If he's bidding £1 with more if we reach the Prem, I still really...

    Hoffman made another bid

Long running joke on the CT Forum-certain posters "in the know" were always proclaiming that big news was about to break. All would always be revealed-on Thursday! In reality, it never was  I heard the origins of "Sent To Coventry" too the other day, if anyone wants to know :p

    Our current squad

He was the best player in our entire squad in last seasons pre-season. If you'd been to Nuneaton or Leam, you'd have had your breath taken away with how good the lad was. MASSIVE potential, more than Thomas IMO.

    Our current squad

I'm amazed this is happening too, Stu-it's Ben Turner all over again; maybe when he prospers elsewhere some of our fans can admit they know sod all about football?

    Our current squad

Fantastic first touch, creative vision, very quick feet, when confident capable of playing one-touch and has played more incisive through balls that created chances in the past few weeks than Clingan has all season. Always gives his all, just needs experience. He's just a kid FFS, his potential...

    Hoffman made another bid

Pretty sure that you don't have a CV like his by being the village idiot! None of us has any right to have a go at Gary Hoffman. He's trying his best and is a respected businessman. Is it his fault if he can't attract investors? Cos he's done a darn sight more than 99.9% of us have (not...

    Match Thread vs Southampton

Never has a day at work been less stressful than a day off! I'm glad we've been busy, I've missed most of it. From what I saw, some of the kids look OK...Willis is raw but has undoubted potential, saw most of Henderson and he did well in the air and passed well..the winger looked all right foot...

    Players we've lost

It's not "senior" as in age-I mean the Birmingham Senior Cup! It's called that because it means the senior clubs of the greater county, like us, the Brum clubs...and Atherstone. We usually field the kids and go out early to someone like Leamington or Rugby, but I don't know if we've entered in...

    Players we've lost

Oh I know, just stretching Rob's point about how all our ex-players have done better than we have this year...aside from Kevin Kyle. And we might draw them in the FA Cup, you never know! We're probably making a big deal of the Senior Cup these days, too..

    Players we've lost

I quite like it as a comment on the Everyman Sky Blue Fan: nothing but failure and pain, nothing to play for in the last game of a season of relegation, but don't worry, he still can't stay away-you'll see him tomorrow!

    Players we've lost

Tom Bates is in the Playoffs with Beduff, whilst Neil Collett and Mark Noon are likewise with Nuneaton (probably).

    baffled about our local newspaper

Sooooo.....we make a big bang at the Ricoh? Maybe blow up Tim Fisher?! Oh but hang on he's not SISU, that might make things worse, argh...I dunno, then. That's my cunning plan foiled

Just How Far Would The Fans Go....

No, Ken was lying (as ever). Turns out he meant he "left most stones unturned". So Tim turned a couple, but one broke his arm in his 2nd game, and the other two were only little stones and not big and strong enough to cope with Championship rocks.

    Paul on cwr

That's the one. He's worse than Iain in the "stuck record" stakes. And at least Iain's usually had a few and is sometimes slightly jocular in his despair: Paul just makes me want to top myself...he was the same when he was on the BBC footy thing. I pity his kids! He thinks that statistics are...
