    Chris Kirkland anyone?

Chris Kirkland released by SWFC (who have another former keeper of ours) He's 34 - not too old for a Goalie. Is he the answer? - probably earned a few quid over his career and through injury and being a back-up at big clubs and so on hasn't played as much as he should. Perhaps he...

    Wow factor signings

Richard Money was the man behind Nilsson. If we'd have kept that pair together and in tune then things would have been sooo different.

    Nigel Pearson

To be fair he had done well in the latter part of the season. Relegation next year certain.

    Wow factor signings

I remember getting excited about Kevin Drinkell. We out-fought Villa to sign him and at the time he was considered a major star. Let's just say it didn't work out for him.

Career ending injury while with city

Don't know if Glandular Fever counts (obviously not buy anyway) I remember Dougie McGuire being continually the best player on the pitch until he got sick. Okay it was often in the reserves but for example I saw him play Liverpool Reserves and totally own Steve Nicol, McMahon and Co. Massive...

    Big Sam

Had Mowbray not signed (and many said he wouldn't even come here in the first place), would Allardyce have been the right person (and many will say we wouldn't come here in the first place)? Odd that a man strongly tipped to be the next England Manager a few years back seems to get pushed...

    Bigirimana and this mystery illness?

I happen to know the actual policy with regards to Farage, UKIP and HIV (I like to know my facts before spouting off) Free treatment for those in UK (legally or not) and provide foreign aid for disaster relief (including disease outbreak including HIV and Ebola). I.e., UK foreign aid to be...

    Tiers

Cantilever type stands where the tier above acts as a roof and amplifies the sound and keeps the atmosphere a bit more charged are always better. So to answer your question, tiers and stacked levels and low roofs much better than being out in the open and having no noise.

    Investment rumour.

When GR steps down as MP of Cov NW, then a barrier to develop the Holbrooks site or indeed any site actually in Cov will be removed. GR and SISU will never be friends and SISU cannot afford to get rid of CCFC. They're staying but cannot get permission in Coventry because of the GR /SISU...

    Farage

Still think Robinson had a part to play with the Labour Council and the Wasps sale - a bit of revenge for SISU going off with his "money".

On the basis of realistically being attracted and signing for a third tier club:- Dean Emerson.

    Ex Player Watch

I thought Dimi was a good keeper, he has De Zeeuw as his defensive cover with an (at the time massively inexperienced - not so now) 18 y.o. Ben Turner. Couple of bad displays meant early chop. Went on to be capped by Greece.

    Nick proschwitz..why and who?

We may be reading too deeply. It may be that his agent just wanted to get him some match time at this level before his contract runs out.

    Eakin obsessed

It's only natural in a way. Eakin probably spoke to SP on a regular basis and familiarity often clouds judgement. It's hard not to feel bad for someone who undoubtedly tried his best but was obviously struggling since the Worcester defeat. He'd (SP) become a bit of an underdog and human...

    Insider talk from today

What is pertinent is that a 3rd tier club with (undeniable) massive potential is a better lure for a potential buyer than one in the 4th tier by some distance. The Prem is where the money is (more so now than ever) and there are some investors who will still see CCFC as viable in getting...
