I think potentially he can be as good as Hamer potentially. Has the defensive side which is better imo than Hamers. Works on his creativity (tall order) and adds a few goals (even 5 a season) then he will be some player.

Fyi. Not comparing. Shouldnt be any comparison. One cost £7.7M....the other nothing. Just saying I get expensive talented Bakayako vibes when I see him.

100% agree this is by far the biggest gamble. Should it even be a gamble spending £7M in the championship for a striker. I shudder to say this but he gives me expensive Bakayako vibes. Hope and pray I'm wrong as its early days and he comes with alot more pedigree. But £7M wow is alot of money...

True and I guess Hyam only got a chance as we were in league 2. Would he have broken into the championship at 21/22 yrs doubt it.

For every Cashman etc there will also be a Hyam type who we bring in for the under 21s u23s who do make it to a very high level and gave us excellent value service.
