I don’t think it’s that. MVE barely ran Beyond Tats, something he did a lot last season. I wonder if Frank has told him to stay back more to use his pace to help the CD’s who clearly lack that attribute. We see more cover runs now than we see overlaps:

I totally agree that Robins was fabulous for Coventry but this debate is about Robins as a Championship manager. I think he will get a job at this level and he deserves one too. I’m less convinced he’s a top 6 championship manager but I accept others have a different view.

It could be argued that he’s only had one very succesful league season in the championship in his entire career.

Is this the same Mark Robins who some City fans thought was the second coming of Christ but now not sure he’d be a success at Stoke or West Brom ? 🤔

Many of which he was sub and a number Tats was out injured for. The Tats / MVE combo was not all about COH in my opinion.
