    Huddersfield sign new keeper

Did you even look at them 4th May Murphy says he hasn't received offer and will begin discussions on the Monday 5th May Pressley says “With regards to Joe we have made it clear, not just today but in the past few weeks, that we would very much like him to stay with us,” he added. “His...

    Huddersfield sign new keeper

Maybe Murphy made it clear that he was no longer interested in receiving such an offer at that point or maybe they had informal discussions with Murphy that never materialised into a formal offer because they knew from previous discussions/negotiations it was a no goer. Murphy left because the...

    Huddersfield sign new keeper

“Joe was one of the Championship players in our squad who had a reasonably good deal at the club, so I think he and his agent are looking at other options and seeing if they are more attractive than staying another year or so with us.” “We worked hard to keep Joe but the pull of Championship...

    Oscar Gobern

On that reasoning James Milner would be the best player in the world (or pick any player you believe to be harder working than most players) He's not and the reason isn't because of his muscle fibres either.

    Huddersfield sign new keeper

I don't recall ever hearing there was an agreement. Around March time he said he was happy, just wanted to play football, was willing to take a cut. The usual soundbites from a player nearing the end of his contract. Then he signs up to be number 2 keeper for Huddersfield despite the club...

    Huddersfield sign new keeper

The whole Murphy was willing to sign a contract on reduced terms is a misdirection. Yes I'm he would have been happy to sign a new contract on reduced terms only IF he had no other better offers on the table by June time, he'd have been an idiot to sign a contract on reduced terms with only a...

You mean just videos of previous games? As I'm sure highlights of the game at the time are always played during the match

Tony Mowbray in talks with Spurs over young players

As Mowbray said, it has to be a two way deal. Swindon have done ok out of there link up with Spurs, signed good players on permanent deals like Luongo, Obika and Byrne with Luongo netting them around a 2.5 million profit with his recent sale to QPR. Some other quality loans like Pritchard as well

Tony Mowbray in talks with Spurs over young players

It can also mean you get some good permanent signings if Spurs decide they are not good enough in a few years time, Swindon got Nathan Byrne and Massimo Luongo on permanent deals from Spurs and they have been two of the divisions outstanding players over the last 12 months.

Mowbray wants to bring back Proschwitz permanently...

Pressley hadn't earned the benefit of the doubt though, if Pressley had tried to sign him 18 months ago I imagine he would be given the benefit of the doubt at that point.

    Wages ?

Yea I'd say that is about right, some of our players will be on 3k+ and some of them will be on less than 2k. A team like Walsall/Crewe there very top earners are probably around 1.5-2k
