Did he have millions to spend like the managers of the 90s? Is the two periods he's managed in coincided with us playing away from Coventry, a fragmented fan base and unpopular ownership? I'm fine with you finding my comment annoying. That's that a forums about right. But listen, hear me...

Agreed. He has less resources than top flight managers and managed over arguably the most turbulent period in our history.

And for anyone asking for Jackett...Pompey fans still want rid of him despite their half decent start to the season.

But his track record for us is that of statistically one of the best manager we've ever had and he's delivered silverware and two promotions. But yeah, take that away though.

Fair point. We had Andy Thorn as manager in 2011/2012 though. I know who I would want taking us into the second half of the season.

Blackburn and Bournemouth i guess. Maybe Brentford? My point is I don't feel like we're cannon fodder in this league like some would have you think.

I assume those bed wetter comments are aimed at me because I think I used them a few days or a few games back. If so, let me explain myself. Is our position a worry? Yes Has MR got everything right? No Are our players good enough for this league? I think so Look, I'm not naive enough to think...

Championship will have five subs from end of November...

C'mon Nick...of course they're not life threatening injuries. That doesn't mean that it's ok for players to get injured. Players welfare, rightly, should be the most important factor - whether this is guarding against cardiac disease or a strained toe nail. A report by Premier Injuries found...

Championship will have five subs from end of November...

No but it would be interesting to see how voted what way. I suspect it must have been a clear majority for them to make it the new rule. Haven't seen anyone (bar Rafa Benitez) moan about it and he only moaned because of the time-wasting aspect. Players health and well-being supercedes any other...

Fans back in stadia by Xmas?

The DCMS have caused utter confusion for elite sports teams this week with their handling of team usage of hotels before games. 'Guidance' stated that teams couldn't eat together in their bubbles, in hotel meeting rooms as private dining. Hotels could host the teams but the players would have...

Championship will have five subs from end of November...

Just totally disagree. Regardless of who is starting, those were the benches we had and there's more than 3 players on each bench who could have some sort of impact coming off the bench. To think that they couldn't is naive. We've got the squad that we've got right. Are Baka, Pask and Kasta...

Championship will have five subs from end of November...

You think Robins isn't making subs because what we have on the bench is a significant drop in quality? Jesus wept.... Our benches in the last 5 games: * vs Watford - McFadz, Kelly, Allen, Wilson, Baka, Dacosta, Bapaga * vs Forest - Kelly, Allen, Wilson, Walker, Da Costa, Bapaga, Thompson * vs...

Championship will have five subs from end of November...

Like I said, the gulf in squad depths will always be there. We still need to name 7 subs now, the same as we've always done. Just means we can use more if needs be. I can see how it looks with the bigger teams benefitting but Bournemouth have a better squad than us anyway (as an example).

Championship will have five subs from end of November...

Disagree Dave. The gulf between clubs and squad depth will always be there. This will allow clubs to use players more sparingly...granted, not by a great deal, but it gives clubs greater flexibility in managing player 'workload' which should have a positive impact in player injury numbers...

    The Masters

Cheers MD. Yeah I knew that a couple would get my money back which it pretty much did. Bit gutted about Marc Leishman though...one shot better and he would've got me an extra £40-50 and was joint 9th at one point but then fell to joint 12th I think, one slot outside the top 11 that Sky were...
