Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Ha ha - fair enough. Didn't pick up on the 2nd point. To be fair, clubs normally are happy to stay within a 30 mins drive of the ground they're playing (taking into account traffic/time of travel etc). That opens up a wider area than Walsall itself. Thankfully.

Wash your mouth out NW, you're better than that. Premier Inns, innit.

To be fair, the club stays in decent hotels for away fixtures. Only because I sort them though ;-)

I've now come to the realisation that I'm likely to get very little* work today. * Any

Because money that should've gone to Delaware/Compass was obviously spent on their playing squad to make them the most successful team on the planet. Oh, wait.... And flags. They bought lots of flags.

I think you're right. It's coming into that time of year when his royalties start picking up. 'Driving to the CBS Arena for Christmas' isn't as catchy mind.

Yeah right. Great foresight from the council.

Ballsy to put that out in the public domain without being able to confirm. Not reading into it that it means Sisu are getting the Arena but I guess the know it's likely a 'more positive' outcome than what it could've been. Imagine the uproar if it goes ahead now in Walsall...

Also, am I right in thinking that as there's apparently 4 interested buyers, the threat of liquidation is much slimmer now?

The cynic in me says any Sisu offer will be derisory so they can have a pop at the Council further down the line. I think we're conditioned to think like that now. Hoping that relations have thawed somewhat and that's not the case.

W@$ps literally loaded all their debt onto the stadium so they could resurrect so much easier. W@nkers.

So the Parasites literally spent no money on the bonds, no money on upkeep of their new home, not enough money to HMRC, not enough money to their suppliers. So all they spent their money on was the rugby side of things and they failed to achieve anything? Wow. Oh, and flags. They bought lots...

Right, I've wasted about 40 mins of my working day reading through what I'd missed. Going to do some work. Back in 5.

Can't wait for us to be the answer to a question on the Chase in a few years: "Which football club played 'home' games at 5 different venues in 20 years?" Likely to be 6 by the end of the week.

The way OHare looks for the ball and Hamer looks to and then picks him out. Magic.

    Thought up to the WC

I think 7th is highly optimistic. I'd be happy with 12th to be honest.

He is. He's paid a considerable amount for refurbishments at Ryton and I know he's paid for other things related to club expenses. As Grendel said, his company sold for an 8 figure sum.

I've heard quite the opposite to be fair from good sources, that he's actually very minted. Assume he doesn't like to talk/brag about it.
