The argument that SISU is losing money: Counter argument is that the squad at the start of this season is worth (say) £10m more than last and the £5m put in leaves £5m profit on the books (ie CCFC is worth more) CBA to argue. Bottom line is that those who think that Joy has to sell for a...

Sunderland didn’t go for 40m. Someone apparently had that turned down.

I think he’ll have to pay £35m for the arena and eventually pay repairs. £30m for 51% CCFC and another £30m for the rest upon PL promotion. At least I stick my neck out, unlike others (you know who you are)

Can’t see the P Share issue being resolved sufficiently quickly to reduce the debt owed to Bondholders. Ie. Why would the Trustees take their charge over the lease away for less than £35m whilst the P Share is being sorted. RPL will drag their feet. So, it’s either £35m and the later £9m goes...

    The dom hyam sale

We could do with agent Max going training at Ryton to nobble Cal and Vic and Gus for just a week or so so that they couldn’t get sold in Jan. It’d mean Sheaf being sold as last resort but when it got to signing the contract a minute before the deadline, he’d dither with the fountain pen and...

I’m not convinced that some of the SISU investors have a clue that their money has been spent / invested on men in the U.K. kicking a round ball around.

    The dom hyam sale

Yes I picked up on that. He also mentioned that he would be getting “Dom’s wages back in January” (to spend / finance) “2 or 3 coming in” Skybluebeliever had mentioned that Waghorn was on 12K / week and was one of our two top earners (at the time, maybe Vic/Gus/Cal more now) with Walker and...

Agree with most of this but Mr “sky blue blood, but I’m going to Huddersfield” would be a bit of a hypocrite if he had a policy that people couldn’t come back.

Let’s get back on subject: It is Joy, wearing a thong, whilst helicoptering big Mike’s chopper that you should not imagine and mentally image.

Quick check on companies house. None of his businesses have ever been worth anything - “Rich Energy” - looks like he’s used “brand value” or something as an intangible asset, run up some debt and put it into liquidation. There’s some strange folk in this world.

NOT that I’d advocate signing him (3 years ago, maybe) but what is McNulty doing now? 30 and without a club. Did he become a bit of a gargler like Thornton or have I got that wrong?

I don’t think there’s a cat in hell’s chance we will sign him, but there’s always another angle. Some workplaces have good atmospheres, people like to be there, the staff give a darn and don’t treat you like a number. Word gets round: “Good place to be that, they look after you” That the club...
