    60 acres

Its not a question of whats for sale, its a question of availability. Regardless of whether the land is vacant or not, can you think of many large 60 acre sites surrounding the city?

    60 acres

Well you dont really need to be in the trade to know that. 60 acres is a big site, the sort that is not easy to miss. Now can you think of Brownfield site that big locally?

    Private Eye...silence

Hilarious that Robinson didn't know what he was signing. What a baffoon that man really was. Maybe we should have protested more at the time and had the twat out? Either way, this article proves we cannot trust any so called educated person in charge of our club.

Would another local authority shaft another ?

It would be illegal for a council to refuse to allow a stadium in their area at this stage. If they really dont want it they will try and find reasons to refuse once planning permission has been put in.

If Sisu built a new stadium between....

Greenbelt land is a no no remember. Not many Brownfield sites within close distance of the CCC boundary.

So is it bye bye Les?

    You can say that again.

So is it bye bye Les?

His opinion got my back up in that article, not him personally. Its his "only I and my band of merry twitter followers are balanced" attitude that got my gander up about him personally.

So is it bye bye Les?

Nothing wrong with being unbalanced at all. As much as sisu may threaten, its perfectly legal to write a one sided, unbalanced piece, provided no lies have been told. Most of my dislike of Les Reid come from his claim to be unbalanced. If he had come out and said this is my opinion, I might...

So is it bye bye Les?

I hope these rumours aren't the same as Andy Thorn turning up drunk for work. I don't care for Les Reid's view of the situation, but still I don't like unsubstantiated being spread about individuals. Especially if it costs them their livelihood.

    CJ!! Attention CJ!

But then why even mention it? Most of us don't believe this stadium will be built, and the trust are no different in that respect. Why therefore even bother commenting on it? If it is that then its a bit of a non story really.

    CJ!! Attention CJ!

If its just about new stadium designs/plans, why would senior members of the trust go along with this embargo? To me that suggests the trust aren't hostile to whatever the news is, otherwise someone would leak it.

Normally though the media treat the imaginary ground with the same level of apathy as us. CT might hype it up, but Central News rarely feature us unless its something news worthy.

    CJ!! Attention CJ!

If that is the case then its a bit cruel the way the media is building it up. I would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact CJ had described it as thrilling news. Had it been RFC then I would be in full agreement.

Or our new home in Atherstone is now at the land buying stage.

    CJ!! Attention CJ!

I agree. If (and it is a big if still) we are coming back to the Ricoh, I want to get back to being a football fan. I will never forgive sisu for moving us, but for the sake of unity and the future of the club I can try and forget about this whole situation. If we are coming back then that...

    CJ!! Attention CJ!

This is the bit that makes me cautious. If they have done a deal with the council, it must surely only be in principle? IIRC changes of ACL ownership (even Higgs half), or the freehold, would have to go to a council vote, meaning it would already be public knowledge.

    CJ!! Attention CJ!

Agree, we need to be calm about it. I'm hopeful its about a Ricoh return, however surely at this stage it would just be about their intention to return? They have said no rental agreements, so the only return is a Ricoh purchase, which would have to be public knowledge.

    CJ!! Attention CJ!

CJ has been critical of the ridiculous new stadium idea, so I'm hopeful its more to do with the Ricoh. However I will be cautious and not get excited yet. This club has let me down once to often for that.

Is it time to...Support the team NOT the Regime?

The hardcore 10-15k CCFC fans will put up with pretty much anything. However Northampton is one step too far for the majority of those. Sisu, and unfortunately CCFC as well, have participated in a grievously disloyal and disrespectful act against the city, surrounding area, and its citizens...

    CJ!! Attention CJ!

The Sixfields baker has created an addictive pie, the funds from which will propel CCFC to the premiership.
