Well, that was shite. They looked stronger, fitter, and quicker than us all over the pitch. To top it off had to sit in the home end and listen to 3 FGR morons giving out some of the worst ‘banter’ I’ve ever heard at a football match. Apart from them the FGR regulars seemed a nice bunch.

I was thinking the exact same thing. To me it feels like we are better (better players, better manager etc) than last year, and I thought we’d do alright in league 1 with our current crop. However, I now think (and I don’t want to tempt fate) if we were to go up we’d need quite a few new faces...

I agree for the most part but it’s pretty difficult not to feel some animosity towards a team that are in ‘our’ stadium, are not from cov, and are owned by the same sort of gobshites that own us. I won’t be going to watch wasps and can’t empathise with cov fans that do.
